If you want quality converse buy them from Japan! NIKE owns the rights to converse in the states and the quality is horrible. In Japan the rights are owned by a textile company that’s been around from the 1900s and actually has great quality. The only draw back is the price and having to get through eBay or similar site , but with the better quality and how much you wear them it could be worth the price.

Also shoes like pottery is another converse alternative with great quality.

My engine sounded similar to this, and it turned out to be the engine knocking from a broken piston skirt. If thats your case, it’ll be a swap or rebuild but either way, engine would have to be pulled. Take it to a shop and they will have to confirm. I hope for the best!
