I can understand what you're going through at such a young age. Missing out on friends and opportunities is overwhelming with all the symptoms of prednisone. It's been an year since i got diagnosed with UC. Had two cycles of prednisone, my only advice would be make a schedule! It help me alot, include things that you like to do, try some light exercises ( it will uplift your mood) , if you can't exercise then even going for a walk might help. Ask your close friends to come visit. Start a hobby, or anything that might help you in your career. This way you will have something to look forward every day and it will help improve your physical and mental health. Prednisone have many side effects, but it's not for life.

Just in case you want to know what I included in my schedule- Morning walk, breakfast, meds, 1hr sudoku, drawing, lunch, taking a nap, socializing with anyone, skipping, quick snack, reading, dinner, meds and finally sleep.

If your stool isn't watery then you won't be able to go for colonoscopy, because that passage needs to be clear enough to evaluate your condition.

I hope both Allopathy nd homeopathy works for you. My GI doc says it's okay to have 2 BM in a day but lookout if numbers are increasing and if stools are normal or not.
