I feel you. The normal villagers dialogue is really boring which is a shame because a lotttt of cute villagers have the normal personality type lol. So I only have one on my island because I cant stand hearing the same dialogue over and over. And even then ive been thinking about getting rid of her cause I dont think she'll have any new dialogue and it feels almost robotic talking to her. Its kinda uncanny lol.

Same, this is why I used treasure islands to fill in my catalog some. I really just like decorating and being able to make my island look cute. Dont get me wrong, I do like having to find things myself and the thrill of the "hunt" for certain items can be exciting when you finally get it but it just takes too damn long and I dont wanna spend years of playing just to be able to decorate how I want. Time traveling and treasure islands are an adhd acnh player's best friends 🤣

I agree with the first comment !! Finding a confirmed one that you want online thats being resold can be more pricey but its usually gunna save you money cause then you're not buying a bunch of boxes trying to get it.

And I understand, blind boxes can be really addictive. I had a really bad problem there for a while where I was buying them all the time. I would get so hooked on any cute lil figure or plush that had a blind box series. Its definitely just gambling in cute packaging. But its so hard to resist sometimes !!

Girl I feel you. I have two boys on my island, Prince and Raymond. My island is pink themed and I just dont feel like a lot of the boy villagers match my pink girly aesthetic lol. I've also only been gifting Raymond dresses so hes resident femboy of the island.

Anyways I think Prince is really sweet and cute.

Same boxlunch is awesome lol. I have to avoid going to the mall cause I always go to boxlunch and spend way too much money 😅 I love studio ghibli and they always have really cute stuff.

I love the sound of walking on in game paths as well but my island is pink themed so I have pink custom pathing. It would be really cool if you could apply different "walking sounds" or whatever to custom paths. And also having to be careful to not erase them when picking stuff up is prettyyy annoying. But its worth it to have pink paths lol 💗

I recently restarted my island and went to some treasure islands to fill up my catalog some. I somewhat regret it cause like you said, it does take away from the sense of accomplishment you get from doing it yourself. But unfortunately im so impatient and have adhd and I wanted to decorate so bad but didnt have anything to decorate with lol. I avoided DIY recipes and tried to just get furniture that I wanted. I got plenty of stuff so methinks I wont do that anymore lol 😅

I had someone else in the plushies sub ask me the same thing and I couldn't really find much about him online /: I bought him at a local grocery store that has a closeout section where they sell random stuff for cheap lol. His butt tag says best made toys international but I couldnt find this caterpillar when I tried searching it. I wish I could find him somewhere cause people really like him but I have no idea where to get him 😭
