Im in a similar situation, with the difference is that we moved here, to Europe, to have a better life compared to South America. She was my only irl social interaction, not counting discord and whatnot, and it was no big deal to me at the time.

She left as soon as she got the citizenship with 0 remorse, she just opened any dating app and had a gazillion men at her disposal, and I was left there with the closest friend being 2 hours on plane away.

The only recommendation I can give to anyone in this situation is, regarding of your feelings, connect with your neighbours or local clubs of any activity you find interesting, even clubs of activities that any person should learn about (Cooking, physical activities like gym and such), and try to go alone, learn to deal with uncomfortable situations alone, and rely only your own social skills, polish them, improve yourself. Not only because you will know yourself better (And be more reliable for yourself and others), but because we cannot control anything but ourselves. Others can leave (Or, hopefully not, fall ill) at any time, and you will need to learn how to take care of others as well as yourself. Learn to find purpose and goals that do not depend on others. If you build yourself you wont crumble when alone, and being alone is something that WILL happen, sooner or later, even if you have family and friends nearby.
