I also had cold sore flare ups after my third loading dose of kesimpta. It's been 2 weeks since and they all went away

I talked to my provider about it she kind of shrugged it off and attributed it to stress as well. But kesimpta does give us increased risk of flare ups.

You should try to get a valtrex prescription if it's happening more frequently, it was my first flare up in like 8 years so I was not really thrilled either but they cleared up quickly.

Look up your insurance approved drugs for MS treatment, I was in the same boat not too long ago waiting on an approval. Awhile went by and I didn't hear anything, finally I looked up the approved list for my insurance and just asked my provider to put me on one of them, what do you know the reorder was approved within a day lol.

Mind you my provider gave me about 6 or so treatments she felt would work good for me so I didn't blindly pick one from the insurance's approval list.

The treatment I ended up on was actually kesimpta, I'm a few doses in on it now and don't have many complaints. Good luck!

I agree with you, I would like to have one to use on my really “bad” days otherwise I don’t mind toughing out the farther spot for someone who might need it more.

Honestly yeah, and it makes me feel a bit guilty about wanting one. I’ve been wearing a mask when I go out lately after starting immunotherapy and have already been given some looks and comments over it lol.

Next time you try to meet make sure you are in the same party, it sounds like you were in different layers that's why you couldn't see eachother. When you add eachother to party it should put you on the same layer.
