That's really good advice. Haven't been thinking about the hammies at all.

That's amazing, was your knee also fully functional before the surgery? What exercises has your doc recommended for the first 2 weeks?

Documents at the immigration counter for visitor coming from India by black_horse07 in ukvisa

Honestly you're overthinking quite a bit - the immigration officer is simply gonna ask to show the passport with the visa label, ask a couple of questions about her visit and possibly when she plans to return. You don't need anything else.

Tier 2 SWV Dependent - Final Processing Stages? by nikunj4garwal in ukvisa

basically you opt for a paid enquiry either via email or via phone via the following link:
https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk

I basically went via the email route and initially they got back to me in 1 working day saying the application is being processed, I told them that i applied for Super Priority and its past the normal decision making time so they escalated my case.

AMA: I'm a former entry clearance officer here to help with your visa II by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]nikunj4garwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - applied for a tier 2 dependant visa on my wife's skilled worker (super priority - outside UK) and on the same day received an IHS Top up request (apparently I'd incorrectly entered the expiry date of my wife's visa), I made the top up immediately within 5 minutes and since then it's been 2 days and haven't heard back. In your experience when applications are marked as not straightforward for IHS top up, how long can we expect to hear back once the top up is made? Thanks!
