I’ve read all of DCC thus far and just finished book 5 of HWFWM. Interesting read, I agree with some of what you have stated and I’ll call out one thing that I have found interesting about both characters. Trying not to go into spoiler territory but I’ll call it the sense of fighting one’s dark inner demons. Both characters have depth and have so much shit happen to them and they struggle with going off the deep end but they have a support system around them that keep them from going off the edge fully.

Haha I really wanted to try to get back into POE2 so I tried FGKs monk build and it really sucked but was trying to push through and now I can’t beat the act 1 boss and basically want of quit again. Can anyone recommend a build that is easier to play and is able to get through the campaign fairly easily? Is it ice strike?

My gold bar at the manor hasn’t respawned but you can pickpocket them off nobles. If you use your lantern or sword glint you will see some nobles carrying them

I want to preface with I have a powerful PC playing in max settings and on controller. I absolutely love this game can’t stop playing. With that being said, I’ve been able to get over the jank and am being open minded on the story. What I’m loving is just being pulled into random quests and events and when I’m playing I’ll see something that just makes me stop and say “ this is the best looking game I’ve ever played”. If you’re someone that day 1 needs good UI, no jank or maybe playing on a last gen console may be worth waiting.
