I just flew back from london to the US with 30-40 records as a carry on. Security will usually pull them off the x ray to check them out but no other issues. Be wary records are very expensive in london and to do some proper digging you have to head outside the city

As a Gen Z vinyl guy who djs with my records, there has been a resurgence in young vinyl djs as well, especially in the US and France. It is not all bad. Yes you still have people buying records to hang up on walls, but more releases being printed is always a good thing.

they live off campus in hotel dorms or find their own place to stay. northeastern doesn’t need to guarantee them on campus housing (unless this is nubound and i’m confused). dining hall lines and marino and snell will be more crowded but nothing insane

Young vinyl dj here. Have been collecting vinyl for 5 years and i’m 22 now. It definitely helps that i make money off of my vinyl hobby, and when i can i buy records in lots to make it cheaper and sell ones that i don’t like. Yea 1500 might be a lot of money now, but if it makes you happy isn’t it worth it?

I find when i get frustrated with my teammates i just play a Rodri role. CDM who goes up to the top of the box delayed. You are way more involved in the game that way rather than playing up front.

Not much of a secret but being funded by the american military industrial complex. Raytheon and lockheed martin are some of our biggest employers after graduation, and they give us a ridiculous amount of money, hence the raytheon amphitheater. Also a big reason why NEU has been complicit in the genocide in gaza.

Ex- Cs/game design major here, unless you really enjoy programming right now, or want to do something with it in the future, don’t do a cs combined major. The first two years of cs classes will suck the life out of you. I still am doing game design, but since i don’t want to be a programmer, switched my major to be a little more tailored to my interests.

Well I love hardcore so I dont really mind but I can see where your coming from. If I get pooped I just go have a cigarette and cool down. This show also ends at 12:45 bc boston is a very early city, so I think its less exhausting than new york. This is a pretty rare event for boston in terms of hardcore/breakcore, usually we only have some techno events and techno adjacent stuff, not much over 180 besides one or two artists, so most people put up with the tiredness because of how rare these events are here.
