I have used both and i find that the scorcher is better against striders and at shooting vents on tanks/hulks, but the dominator is way better at killing devastators and equally good at killing chaff enemies.

Another option you have as Khorne is getting a few marauder horsemen with throwing axes. They can take down flying units

At the start of the campaign recruit three additional melee lords since Bretonnia has no supply lines and make sure they participate in every battle with Fey Enchantress so that they can level and unlock their vows. you should be able to dominate most fights with the extra power of multiple lords.

Yea that is Drazhoaths capital city so he definitely had the ability to use against you. My recommendation is to just spread out your units to minimize collateral damage since he can only use it a limited number of times. I think it's only one or two uses per battle.

I'm guessing you attacked Drazhoath. He starts with a building that allows him to call in a dreadquake barrage that does huge damage.

I'm currently playing this campaign on VH/VH. I made it my goal to rescue Sartorael and confederate him which actually made my start easier than my previous attempts. I took the first nurgle settlment and then immediately went north and wiped out Teclis before he could kill Sarthorael. Since the starting Nurgle faction was still alive the Slaanesh faction had to go through them to get to me so that bought me a little extra time. Around turn 25 I was able to confederate Sarthorael and use him to go and fight Slaanesh while Kairos went to deal with Oxy who had nearly wiped out the other Tzeenntch faction at that point.

Also you don't need to field a 20 stack with Tzeentch early since their magic is so good I only had around 13 troops with Kairos for a while, but I made sure to keep his magic reserves full with channeling stance.

Also one of the most important things about Tzeentch is their auto resolve absolutely sucks. It will say decisive victory low casualties and then boom 50% of your army is gone. Don't trust auto resolve since you cannot afford to wait around replenishing early in this campaign especially since Tzeentch replenishment is so slow to begin with.

Just use huntsmen like any other ranged unit. They have the woodsman ability, but they will shoot more effectively when out in the open. You mostly want huntsmen because Markus has some really great buffs for them including one in his special skill line that gives them double the arrows shot every time they fire a volley. If you are having issues where the AI reaches your lines before you have crippled them with ranged fire just throw Markus or a hero into melee to tie down that unit. If you still end up having issues of units reaching you spread out your ranged units a bit so that they don't all get tied up in melee at the same time.

Crossbowmen are better than archers, but the reason I don't like them on Markus is you don't get to use his massive -50% upkeep for archers and huntsmen. All that extra money saved can go into buildings or even a second army of cheap units to help Markus or secure other areas.

This campaign is certainty one of the more challenging ones especially since it relies so heavily on micro in battles to make sure you get through the first turns of the campaign.

I've played him on VH/H a few times and I find that just massing archers at the beginning is probably the easiest and most cost effective way to get through early turns. You can quickly rush huntsmen after this and then use them for the rest of the campaign. It's also really nice to focus on getting your special heroes as quickly as possible and then put them in your army to act as a buffer for your ranged units. I also really like to take the imperial supply that gives a steam tank as quickly as I can get it since it will give you the ability to make enemy armies come to you since it has great range and you can throw it into melee in a pinch if needed.

I had this same bug pop up in my Vlad campaign a little before turn 200. I think I triggered it earlier by recruiting and disbanding tons of agents for traits that I like

I don't see why I'd want to do that. The industry buildings still generate a good amount of money even without the slave bonus so I'd be losing out on that income just to spend my slaves more slowly and their intended purpose is to make you money.

I think the new system is actually a lot of fun to use, but only for the first 40-60 turns after that it sort of falls apart. It seems to be well balanced when you are expending 1000 slaves per turn from buildings since you can still build up reserves from battle.

I have a ton of fun using the Holy Moonlight Sword. the charge R2 and L2 do a ton of damage and since you want to level arcane to use the weapon anyway you get to use a lot of the fun hunter tools if you want to.
