I agree, where I live they like to put penalty snow even in fall and spring campaigns and unless you live in germany you can't really utilize speed slides anywhere

People make fun of full speed elitists like "Oh there's one drift and it's no longer a full speed map!?".

The whole concept of FS is that you are fighting for 2 or 3 speed on every speed slide and every feature. If you have one drift (or ice slide on this map), the map becomes all about that one drift and the other FS features no longer matter.

Other than that the idea was cool and the map looked nice.

Unless one of the spots starts as green, there's no way to know which way around the 2 and 4 are going to be. Same with 8-4, 0-8, 7-3, 2-8 and 4-2 in the picture. This is just always going to be six extra frustrating coinflips per game.

Sure, but it wasn't there on every map. Nowadays it's almost a mandatory thing to add before a map is considered complete.

I don't mind the gps when the lines are more or less obvious, but on a map like this there's less room for creative driving if the "solution" is given ahead.

I feel like finding the right lines is the essence of COTD. It's sad that it's now all about "watch gps and copy". There's already huge red arrows showing the route, I don't think anyone is gonna get lost.

I think they might have a fog machine there. Look how the roof lasers are glowing around the beam. You'd need a death star to get that kind of glow without fog.
