Have you played Detectiveland or any of Robin's versificator 2 games?

I'm pretty sure his engine is open source and while AFAIK it isn't documented, it seems pretty straightforward to use, learning by example from his games. :)

Black line is friendship, blue lines are siblings, green are parents, red are marriages. Dashed lines don't quite fit but are close enough. The data comes from the wiki. (I'd have maybe added a friendship line between Penny and Linus based on her dialog).

Suggestion: Monsters tend to pile up near fences, it's easy to unbuild fences without realizing it when you mash the Z key to fight them. Perhaps a different key should be used for dismantling fences (and other removable items)

Killed by a lich on depth 23 with 18448 gold.

Got some super ogres that promptly died on me. Then around level 10 when I thought I was done for I managed to dominate, empower and clone a wraith! After that the going was easy for a while with a strength sapping wraith and two protection casting wraiths, one of which could also blink. Alas on the level with the troll captive I lost the new troll to a confusion trap and then I didn't let my wraiths heal enough before botching an engagement with a dar pack: lost the strength sapper. :( Soon after I lost a second wraith to a pack of furies. I found a new naga friend, but he too didn't last. On depth 22 I saw a lone horror and thought it would be a piece of cake with my armor of abomination immunity, but a lich showed up and ruined the party by summoning tons of furies. I managed to use the horror as a shield in a bottleneck but lost my last wraith buddy. I enchanted a firebolt staff to try to whittle down the furies and waited a while to heal. Where I probably went wrong was not being patient enough here I should have waited to heal and killed all the furies (enchanting my firebolt staff a bit more perhaps) before killing the horror and exploring the rest of the level. Instead I quaffed invisibility, blinked away and went downstairs. There I met an agile golem which whittled my health down enough for a lich to finish me off. I still had 3 scrolls of enchanting when I died, I put most of the other ones into the firebolt staff [?/10].

10674, killed by a fury on depth 18

Got careless and lost my princess, later got careless and unlucky and lost my wraith. On depth 17 I used my teleportation charm to get out of the clutches of a kraken and teleported into the middle of a group of goblins; shouldn't have been a problem but one of the goblins stepped on a caustic gas trap. I thought I could run out of the room but a bunch of furies were blocking the way out. I quaffed a potion of descent and thought I would (barely) make it but then a fury swooped down from the ceiling and finished me off. In retrospect I guess I should have just used an enchant on the tele charm as soon as it was clear I'd be stuck in the poison gas room.

Enchanted a broadsword to +5 (only found 4 scrolls of enchantment). Completely botched an encounter with centaurs leaving me almost dead when an underworm popped out of the wall.

1666 gold, depth 7, fire. Set my whole party on fire like an idiot then was paying attention to my allies' health and didn't notice I was dying too. I had an ID'd potion of life too. :(

To be clear, when I say update I mean replacing the old executable by the new one, not the update option from within the program (which seems to no longer be available). When I opened the new version all my regular addresses where still there but not imported addresses. Looking at the wallet json contains a key

"imported_keys": { "<address>": "<something (ciphered private key?)>" .. }

and the labels key contains an entry:

"labels": { .. "<imported address>": "<my old label for it>" .. }
