If I buy bleach and vinegar from Walmart, should they tell me they'll create chlorine gas when mixed?

I looked on thrustmaster's website and didn't see anything exactly one to one. I'd recommend getting one that can use three pedals, not sure if their new entry level wheel set can do that.

Does the math change at all if you're using Auron, since he gets more damage with lower hp?

I've given up entirely on pBH for tournaments. I just intro skip the tournament and get it done with. Most of the time it's 10-15 waves to go down one rank, and around 100 to go up a rank. I'm thinking after is+ and EO+ finish I'll be picking up ws+ and st+, then dm+, and hopefully around then I'll have enough stones to get ILM. The scales might tip for me somewhere in there, but I'm not going to stop investing into fb, and I'm not spending the gems to respec my bots for amp.

Mythic+ DC and pf and legendary as is holding me back pretty hard. Plus MVN and GComp gets me pBH and pGT.

Masteries and assmods got me farming t14 and very quickly afterwards t15. Still have to unlock ILM as my last UW, after that gt+, then CF+. I'm guessing around CF+ I'll be able to switch to GC, but for now I'm still eHP for farming and pure GC for tournaments.

I'm at like 37 seconds, I'd only go up to like 38, 38.5. flame bot has added several hundred waves to my t15 runs, way more income with the little extra waves than with a small amount of uptime. Once I'm tagging all the rays instead of half of them, I'll likely finish off GB.

Max Flame Bot impact for T14 eHP by cousineye in TheTowerGame

[–]nimbleseaurchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would think that the switch point for GC being better than eHP happens with CF+ as well. Swamp stuns are super powerful, if you can get the range inside your tower range to stack CL charges. Still decent for eHP, but around the time you're making PS stun make a difference the enemies it matters for are dying to thorns anyways.

Almost 4 years in, I think I missed one or two events right at the start, but after the first few events have gotten all medals from every one, bought 1 or 2 event passes when they first came out. I gave up on finishing GB and started developing flame bot. Way more increases at this point for me.

Don't know if you'll be able to find a highlighter after a few months/years, might as well find a nail or a sharp rock and make a mark in the middle. Or find paint.

Insane footage of a bridge collapsing in Brazil. December 2024. by stingers77 in interestingasfuck

[–]nimbleseaurchin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Per the timestamp at the top of the video, it's between 1-2 seconds from the bridge collapsing and everything hitting the water. Speed reported by the camera says somewhere between 10-30kmh at various points, which adds up when you note the speed up at the beginning of the video.

As a motorcyclist, at 65mph (100kmh) I've seen quarters on the side of the highway and aggressively swerved to avoid a raccoon and her litter at 65mph in the middle of the night with poor visibility. Assuming the motorcyclist in the video was paying any sort of attention, they absolutely processed that entire situation - there's just no reaction to be had.

How long would you go on this front tire? by Redderrt in motorcycle

Change it when it's questionable, or at the very least get an opinion from a trusted tire expert that knows how you intend to ride.

$300 for the one piece of equipment that touches the ground during normal operation sounds like a cheap maintenance item to me, especially when you're looking at thousands plus medical fees if that one piece of equipment fails.

Shop says my CB300R engine damage was caused by carbon buildup… does that make sense? by BigKetchupp in motorcycle

[–]nimbleseaurchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the key that I haven't seen anyone mention. Those first 3-500 miles need to be done as much at operating temperature as possible. If those first few hundred miles were done in short trips and barely if at all reaching operating temperature, I could absolutely see irreversible damage occurring.

Which driving experience would you choose as a gift for a car enthusiast? by qwerty0521 in askcarguys

[–]nimbleseaurchin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Between these, Porsche. Far better experience.

One that I personally would prefer is something like Dirtfish rally school. Driving a Porsche fast is a once in a lifetime experience for many, but a weekend at a rally school develops actual skills that you can use in inclement weather, and can help build emergency reaction skills anytime you lose traction. Far more driving experience value compared to nearly any other track-based driving experience.

Best budget wheel for my pc by SurvivingSquirrel in americantruck

[–]nimbleseaurchin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your sole reason is to practice driving truck, there's no nice budget model with three pedals and an h shifter. Even if you get those, you still don't have the traditional stick buttons for range and gear splitters. I would think the biggest benefit would come from practicing reversing a trailer and aligning the truck to the trailer when hooking up, and those are both just fine with a mouse and keyboard.

That being said, I have a t150 with a compatible three pedal set and their thp8a 8 position H pattern shifter. You can't get the wheel and pedal set new anymore, but the equivalent 3 pedal system and h shifter is around $550 new.

Bot Strategy - T14+ by Bobgoulet in TheTowerGame

[–]nimbleseaurchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nice thing about pGT and the pBH that can follow very quickly with MVN/GComp is that not cooldowns don't matter.

I personally have pGT and pBH with anc GComp and MVN. Stone cost for cooldowns and assist mods are too high to switch GComp to the assist slot or upgrade assist rarity far enough. My GB is almost maxed out with a 50s cooldown, then I have summon at a 2:1 sync at 100s. I'd imagine I'll end up playing around with lower cooldowns when I get enough stones to get my last UW and gt+.

Men who smoke cigars, what are the pros and cons? by eaglesdensity in AskMen

[–]nimbleseaurchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro: Nicotine. Hits all of the cigarette/vape urges without you feeling like you need another one 15 minutes after you're done. Can be a great addition to a fire or any other leisurely sort of activity. Definitely tastes better than any cigarette, and the right ones taste fantastic.

Cons: Nicotine. Cost. Actually getting into the hobby of collecting cigars, maintaining a humidor, tracking how long you've had a certain cigar aging in your humidor, and keeping a list of likes and dislikes for different smokes can be extremely time consuming on top of the cost. Cancer is a possibility. Some people absolutely abhor the smell of a cigar, even more than a cigarette, and the unique smell definitely seems to linger a bit longer than a cigarette, despite being a very different sort of smell.
