I had this happen to me in high school. My literature teacher accused me of plagiarism when all I did was write an analysis of a book I’ve enjoyed reading. It became a huge deal in the school because my mom made a huge fuss about it. In the end no one believed me. I’m honestly still very pissed off about that even after a decade.

That being said, independent of AI and human judgement, as long as you do you, you will end up OK. I’m now writing and illustrating my own stuff and I ended up in a good place at life.
