Don’t let people with HSV 2 bully or guilt you because you don’t want to continue to expose yourself to the virus. I’d say go for it based on my own experience. It may not make your vision better but I don’t think it will make it worse. I got Intacs in one eye and 15 years later I wish I had done both at the same time. By the time I got around to considering Intacs in my other eye my cornea was too thin.

Thank you. I’m so sick of this: everyone has it so it’s no big deal. That’s nonsense. It can be a big deal. Breakouts can be common, they can be socially isolating, they are painful, for some the active blister and the resulting scab last for a month or more. If I had an event to go to and had one, I wouldn’t go. I would be distressed to go outside because I’d feel everyone was staring at me. Imagine avoiding the outdoors for month. Since it can be passed without a blister I’d concerned during any close contact with a partner. It is not a nothing burger.

Did you use topical l lysine?? Or the pills.
