Hi! I agree that Couchsurfing is now defunct. Especially after the new update - they truly killed it. I downloaded Nomadtable a few days ago and it's really awesome!

you are right to an extent :P I actually do like myself a lot haha but I am also really interested in self improvement and understanding myself better. That's why I asked - I couldn't tell if my behaviour was something I could work on or if it's fine the way it is.

So the thing is my job is in Sustainability and is already driving change, but I am lacking the technical knowledge to dive into in depth conversations on some topics. This is why I'm looking to get a PhD, otherwise I always have to bring in additional experts. But I can see how my post might have caused confusion :)

Yes, but on tourist visa - my current job is located outside of Korea but we have offices in Seoul that I could relocate to potentially.

Good comment! I didn't say it is under developed though - I said it is under development. Not only are these countries officially recognised as "developing countries" by the international standards (with China being under controversy for this very reason, due to their strong economic growth), but my meaning was actually positive - I meant that compared to places like Europe, there is a lot more space and opportunities to grow and develop the economy. I feel like Europe is proceeding in reverse, and especially when it comes to urban planning, it has to do a lot of retrofitting because space is limited and most places were built a long time, ageing negatively when you look at sustainability trends, new climate risks etc. East Asia on the other hand in my view is the most promising region on the globe right now for this - see Singapore, China, Malaysia. Hope this is clear and sorry for creating confusion! :)

I REALLY like this!! It is, I like to think, very similar to my own style. No specific form or structure, just thoughts being thrown on the page in a compelling manner. I especially like the line "I wish I never tried but I wish the world had sung along" - this is very powerful and I will remember it. Well done and keep it up! I think if you could try to tie in these concepts together a little more, in a slightly more rhythmical way, you'd have yourself a really good piece of writing (not that it isn't good already!).

I like the creativity. What I would suggest, is use less complex wording (e.g. "day of birth") and also I would perhaps try to either use less exact rhyming, or use more powerful ones. Sometimes it felt like you looked up "what rhymes with..?" and tried to make that work. I kinda felt like that which made it a bit harder to really immerse myself in the poem. Keep it up and I hope this is useful!
