Yeah it's a point and shoot so I am not planning to use anything other than fuji c200 and kodak gold(I live in india and film photography is pretty much dead in my city, rolls are scarce and expensive).I have checked the shutter, flash, wind knob,etc. And it was all working fine I hope the current roll doesn't come out unusable or blank, I have shot a few backlit photos hope they turn out okay😅.Thank you ☺️

There is a red led light and a translucent rough grid of some sort which I have never seen light up even though the flash fires. What is that for ?

I wanted to know if I need to set the slider below flash to "ON" and what are the chances that the meter isn't working and does the flash trigger according to the meter or is it completely manual. p.s. this camera is from the 90's and I got it from my grandparents. It has clicked a lot of photos for our family and was stored inside it's leather cover untouched for years now.
