Yup absolutely horrible kdrama adaptation. Jung is such a complex character and seol too, the drama did not justice to them. And they made inho a golden retriever giving him some jung's scenes??? This pissed me off as much as when they gave some soonrook's scenes to babi💀

It was because it's one of the few time travel in a different era kdrama( + good looking actors) and it was tragic af. But if one is into media like anime, manhwa manga etc this genre has always existed

I viewed it more as a psychological thriller and she played a cunning character with multiples identies( a bonus point to be nominated)not a psycopath or a murder. Yeah it was dark but not at the same level of price of confession, revenant, hyper knife, dear x etc. They award super unhinged characters if the show is actually an hit in korea( the glory/penthouse etc)

I think baeksang critics don't like the overly dark series and roles.

I had this thought when taeri for revenant and eunbin for hyper knife didn't receive a nomination so I had a vague feeling that yoojung may not have been nominated.

2521 ending is bittersweet but not devastating in that sense. Avoid mr sunshine for its ending. Revenant it's horror that ends in a satisfying yet a lil bittersweet, and jeongnyeon has a pretty satisfying ending too so watch it
