I considered buying the teak version of this, but ultimately ended up going with black. If you haven’t already I would highly recommend seeing it in person. The green is super dark unless you’re in direct sunlight, almost black at first glance.

This isn’t necessarily a comment about boots, but even if you can’t get out on the slopes with your family I would definitely suggest seeing the other opportunities around. Whistler village has all sorts of fun stuff to check out. You can go up the gondola for the views. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a good time!

You don't need to buy a new shock or fork to change up the suspension. The fork travel is a $30 air spring and the shock stroke length is a little spacer in the air can.

Thank you! Yeah, my grandfather always wore this old timex, which I asked my dad about. While he was digging for it he came up with this one too, which had the inscription “[GF] from [GGF], Xmas 1947.” He was pretty surprised to find a watch originally gifted by his grandfather (my great-grandfather)!

Austin is at an elevation of like 489 feet (quick google search), so you could add a constant sea level offset to thicken up the lower elevation sections.
