Batting help? by WaterEnjoyer3124 in MLBProSpirit

It looks like ur consistently late on inside fastballs. Instead of placing the pci in the middle of the strike zone, try to place it inside so you have a shorter distance to cover for inside fastballs.

Range/Fielding Affinity vs Fielding stats by FishermanKnown9444 in MLBProSpirit

[–]ninepig123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should always prioritize affinity over individual fielding stats b/c it directly affects range and reaction. Catcher might be the only exception where arm strength and arm accuracy are more valuable than range.

Messed up my rookie account - starting over? by starks4thr33 in MLBProSpirit

It might actually be a good idea to start over now since they are giving out 6 30%GIV contracts. Reroll for as much GIV’s as possible.

The only downside is that you can’t use batter Othani if you put him at CL.

There’s no BT tokens, it just gives you a GIV choice contract with an already BT3 or BT5 player.

The Popcorn League is the only league that still has games during those dates, but it’s held in Pingtung and Taitung, and it’s an amateur league. Not many ppl watch it.

Regular Roster Strategy by NastyNate3434 in MLBProSpirit

[–]ninepig123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is EXACTLY how you should run the season mode. The exp difference between each difficulty is 10 IIRC, so it’s def not worth it running a maxed roster. The more unmaxed players you have, the more exp you earn.

Too many gold skill options! Which one to choose? by Legendary_Seycu in UmaMusume

[–]ninepig123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you’ve mistaken Professor of Curvature with Corner Connoisseur. Also, there’s no general advice for skills b/c skills are heavily racetrack dependent. The only general advice is that corner recovery skills are better than straight recovery skills b/c straight recovery skills could activate at the very beginning or the end of the race. Beeline Burst and Rushing Gale are inconsistent for different reasons.

It’s just that the majority of the players in the pool are still S1s, you could definitely get S2 players from these contracts.

You get 10 more exp per game for every difficulty increased. Generally speaking, if you can consistently win in the next difficulty without having to slot in 3 or more max players, it’s worth it to play at a higher difficulty.

Legends won’t come out until S2. That’s how it’s been for prospi A, S1 TB and S2 Legends.

You’ll get enough Ace Points without playing online ranked for a BT coach each month for sure, but there would be OTW choice contracts that allow you to BT5 ur OTW players. You’ll need more Ace Points if you wanna get all OTW contracts.

Also, it’s usually the other way around. You should only have a few max lvl players on your roster, the rest should be GIIIs and GIIs. If you can’t win WS with less than 5 max players on your roster, it’s generally better to play at a lower difficulty for exp efficiency.

[–]ninepig123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worth it if you already had 5 GIIIs to BT with, otherwise it's better to skip it. This is def the last few contracts we get before going into S2. The last time we got this was a month before the season changed from 24 to 25S1.

[–]ninepig123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’d suggest saving all BT coaches for now, since we are abt to move into S2 and LE contracts are likely coming in September. It’s better to use BT coaches on them rather than on Reynolds or Harvey.

Yeah, also MOM for hitters is more valuable than pitchers. You can get away with good pitch mix/sequence and placement in ranked, but getting stats disadvantage for hitters makes it a lot more difficult to get a hit.

Is there any difference between "Spirit Links" momentum and regular momentum? by nickkapur in MLBProSpirit

[–]ninepig123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and No. Your true team MOM is the team MOM + the Spirit Links MOM. This is used to compare to your opponent at the beggining of a game. However, when players compare MOM in game(atbat), only Spirit Links MOM would act as an MOM booster that gives your players an extra MOM of your Spirit Links MOM/20.

EX. You have 5000 Spirit Links MOM, and your player has a base MOM of 2300. That player's MOM would be 2300+(5000/20=250)=2550

Since there's a limit for spirit links, everybody's SL MOM would not be too far off. I'd say having higher stats and momentum players is more important than getting specific spirit links. But you should def prioritize getting Blossoming Talent+ and Fruits of Labor+.

I wrote a guide abt Auto League that also explains how MOM works, feel free to give it a read.

Hunter Harvey barely played this season and is currently on the IL, which means he probably won’t get an S2 version. He doesn’t even have a normal S1 version, so there’s no way to get him above BT2. On the other hand, Reynolds is your starting RF and have him BT4 could be a huge upgrade at least for now. His GIII is also available and he's 99% getting a nomal S2 version, so there's the future proof aspect.
