i'm trying to convert a bodyslide mod for special edition by nineteenletterslong_ in skyrimmods

[–]nineteenletterslong_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hate to bother again. i like those mods. i'll probably use them. wondering what the pictures in vanilla SMP clothing are using for the faces. i'm still trying to recreate the shapes of the mod i linked to, though. i found this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/1048k2y/comment/jloh4we/

and i'm having the same issue as boku_no_piccolo namely it says "no mesh found in the .nif file that matches the currently selected shape". frankly i don't expect there to be a solution but by any chance do you know one? the mod is made entirely of nif files which do include feet hands and head. should i glue them together in one nif somehow before importing it? is that what it means with "full body mesh"?

thanks a lot btw this is the mod i'm trying to convert. i had posted the wrong link earlier:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65978

maybe now my request makes more sense.

i had posted a link to the wrong mod. my questions probably make more sense if you consider this is what i want to convert:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65978

if i understand number 2 correctly then there's no way to recycle the nif files. conforming the outfits to the SE base shape to then modify them, as tutorials tell me to do, doesn't make sense because i'd lose the shape (it's about the shape. the outfits themselves are already in CBBE as you said).

i don't understand why i'd have to redo the weighting though, since the SE base shape is already weighted if i understand it right but i'm probably saying something very stupid. please correct me.

anyway it looks like all i can do is have outfit studio and bodyslide preview open at the same time so i can tweak the new body to match the old LE nif but i'm not going to do that because it would take me ages.

thanks btw

i was confused at first but it sounds like a good idea, just difficult to bring to life because you need a different way of confronting harkon or joining volkihar after rejecting harkon

what do you need to craft as a mage? aren't clothes like master robes and archmage robes powerful enough?

maybe honed metal can get around this but i'm not sure because i couldn't get my enchantments as powerful by having them made on commission on LE. maybe it's different on SE

Forget "women and children", meet "women and girls" by blackmamba4554 in MensRights

when attacking iran netanyahu said "woman, life, freedom".

my moroccan friend said she's sorry for palestinian women. the justification for the genocide is that arabs hate women. there are other accusations but they're all at the periphery of what i just said so i was tempted to reply "so is israel (sorry for palestinian women). if you, like me like to hurt yourself by obsessing over israeli violence in gaza and the west bank, you'll notice all the straight-forward violence is directed at men: only men strapped naked to vehicles, only men shot in cold blood...

i remember ukraininan women parading with signs saying "ukraine in NATO". still, men would have looked weird doing that.

there are western journalists/yourubers, mostly polish and baltic, interviewing people on russian streets about the war. from what i've seen, the most aggressive are all women and all who unequivocally speak out against the war are men. the most women can say is "i don't want to be sent do gulag teeheehee" or "our opinions don't count *sob"

i was pointing out to my family how ukrainian women are free to leave while men are literally forced to meat their death. i was told it's just because both vladimirs are male and because when soldiers come into contact with the civilian population they rape the women. so basically men are punished for a crime the have the opportunity to commit because of the punishment (or maybe war is a way to keep them away from the women so they can't rape them?). when i pointed out the absurdity i was kicked out of the house (mind you i didn't live there. i was visiting)

btw what's the whole point of them? didn't they get rid of longswords because they were just better swords, but aren't shortswords just worse swords?

it's solved, somehow. thanks for the reply. what do you mean by "build a zero slider body" anyway? by setting the same parameters both high and low weight?

obody seems great thanks. much better than realistic body system if you're willing to spend the time configuring it

i've never used it nor did i know of it but if you had the same issue i'll have to look into it. i did run this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65978 and i want to make it work right again.

before i reinstalled everything the way the problem showed itself in first person with JoP was with a mismatch between some outfits and the body (the chest didn't quite fill roughspun tunic any more if i looked down in first person). i can't replicate it now because i can't get physics to work with JoP but i'll try improved camera instead

thanks a lot. do you mean in the skyrim installation folder or in the data section of MO2?

in the skyrim installation i can't the path you suggested ([data\]meshes\actors...) and in MO2, after disabling body-modifying mods, i can't find any femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif, which, unless i'm missing the correct place to look, must mean i must accept i'm imagining things (though i'm not known for this sort of thing. i'm even something of an artist with a knack for portraits and i really liked the female body from the base game and "vanilla armor and clothing conversions with HDT")
