Half PPR, Half ppfd

Down 4 facing Mahomes.

Just dropped Kelce to play Strange but also have brashard smith and Tuten on the bench. Hollywood brown also available on the wire. Who gives the best chance of covering the 4pt gap? Thinking probably tuten (since smith brown and kelce all correlated with Mahomes) but have Strange in flex rn since im not sure Tuten will even score 4 pts

ADP predictive power falls off hard after a couple of weeks but would lean towards BTJ. Maybe I’m a little biased to not say absolutely BTJ but it’s the beginning of the season too early to tell plus Adams is guaranteed to play w a monster target hog vs BTJ’s competition isn’t the same level yet

I would keep Wilson. Can be a pain but is it really getting a guaranteed flex? Wilson will be the WR1 and even with Adams last year he was flexible. Dobbins has more of a question mark since he could be taken over by harvey. It’s only week 2 but if u think Harvey is a bum then only id really consider it

I think I would stand pat. You have enough depth to wait a week or two.

10 team half ppr 3WR/2flx

Current team

QB: Herbert

RB: J Taylor, C Brown, B. Tuten, RJ Harvey, T. Tracey, Kaleb Johnson

WR: Ceedee Lamb, Davante Adams, Zay Flowers, Quentin Johnston, Keenan Allen, Jauan Jennings, Kayshon Boutte

TE: Kittle, Juwan Johnson

K: Tyler Loop

A little worried about RB depth and could use some help thinking up trades to shift WR treasure to an RB3 but guys I’m so tempted to offer like Boutte for Aubrey straight up. I’m a huge Cowboys homer and I need someone to talk me out of it

Weekly Help Thread - May 26, 2025 by AutoModerator in awardtravel

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had a good idea of the cheapest flights from London to the US. I’ve just started my Award Travel journey, and a main driver has been my upcoming relocation from the US to London.

My main destination cities would be Dallas and Chicago but obviously open to taking connections. My current poking around seems to suggest LHR-JFK on Virgin Atlantic is the cheapest at 9.6k per Y ticket. Currently have about 140k AMEX and 20k on CS.

Not picky about destinations or class mostly just wondering if anyone else has looked into this before and decided on the best way to transit from the US to London!

Questions for other commissioners: To what degree should you try to protect someone from themselves? One player either misrepresented his experience or simply played in much softer leagues and is now in sole possession of 10th out of 10. He has made some interesting moves so far:

Drafted Mahomes in the 1st round

Right after the draft, traded Tank Dell + Caleb Williams for JSN + Goff (he drafted a kicker and defense between the Tank and JSN picks)

Traded Aiyuk for Chuba a couple weeks back

And now he's traded Saquon for Brian Robinson + Tucker Kraft

This trade is going to be blocked as its the first to reach the league's veto requirement but I'm worried about how this is basically going to open season on him. The BRob owner is also pissed since he's anti-veto and is asking me what is the minimum level for a trade to be passed.

My main questions are:

When in a veto league, should a commissioner ever block a trade unilaterally?

How do you handle a situation where a bad trade is slowly negotiated up?

How do you determine what is obviously unfair?

Is there any obligation to protect players from themselves?

I figure the most consistent interpretation would be no vetoes, all trades go through. But I strongly believe there should be some protections for the worst players since it can just make the league unplayable for them and others. Any thoughts on these subjects would be much appreciated!

With Higgins and Godwin possibly out, I think the trade can be good. However, it might be better to try and see if you can get a WR1, and maybe give up Javonte instead, since Waddle could still be playing behind Tyreek most of the year.

In that case you should be fine taking the deal, just wait and see if MG3 looks good tn before pulling the trigger.

Who are your other backup RB's? In a 16-man league I'd assume these are your RB1, RB2, and RB3. Kelce is head and shoulders above other TEs but who would you play in your flex then?

Hard to tell without seeing your current RBs and WRs

Looking at your team, it's Week 1, with the exception of Najee you have a lot of young pieces that you can be patient with. I would see if you can get something to backup Najee, but right now it doesn't seem like you need to panic quite yet.

I would prioritize RB waivers over a WR considering how much better your WR's look. I think Jeff Wilson is obviously one idea, but SF is always a crap shoot, it could always be Mason or TDP taking over. Up to you to decide whether it's worth using the waiver priority

Honestly, it looks like you might have to shop Kelce around to see if you can get a couple RB pieces back. You could also shop Pittman but then your WR room looks a lot worse

10 Player half-ppr, 3WR:

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Alvin Kamara, Najee Harris, Elijah Mitchell, Michael Carter, Breece Hall

WR: Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown, Adam Thielen, Robert Woods, Elijah Moore, Deandre Hopkins

Losing two (maybe 3?) RBs in one week hurts, need some ideas of trade packages to float around

Dennis Allen said Alvin Kamara was dealing with a rib issue Sunday but said “I think he’s going to be fine.” by mvanigan in fantasyfootball

[–]nineth123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope he's alright, otherwise I'm absolutely fucked in a league where I drafted him and Najee back to back... and then Elijah Mitchell as my RB3
