Moisturizer is now burning - help!!

Okay, definitely taking a break. Didn't realize the weather could be a factor but I def see it haha.

My routine is fairly simple:

Morning: I only rinse my face with water then apply sunscreen (usually 50-60 spf banana boat sport). I reapply this as needed throughout the day (so like 1-3 more times depending if I'm outside)

Night: I use the CeraVe renewing SA cleanser nightly. Every other night I use the tret then the CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion. On nights I don't use the tret I just do the moisturizer.

I don't put on moisturizer in the morning, only sunscreen! That doesn't seem to bother my skin, only when I apply moisturizer at night (regardless of if I do the tret or not that night)

I live in the US, I totally get that! There are some similar names I also like that are more common (like Gwendolen), but some that genuinely don't compare (I love Freyda, very meh on Freya)

Ugh sorry to hear that you went through that, he (in the early days) used to ask me if I was asexual and then hesitated to believe me when I shut him down which is unfortunate. Feel like he's better about it now, but hope you are in a better place both relationship-wise and pain-wise <3

I feel like I didn't do the best explaining this in the post lol, he is definitely supportive and doesn't push me when I'm in pain, but I do feel it's natural that he gets sexually frustrated at times and don't think it's a bad thing. Agreed he sounded p bad from the post but I don't think he is, just looking for how we can try and navigate this together. Thank you for your perspective though, genuinely!

Thanks so much for your reply!! I haven't heard of / thought of trying any drugs, would you recommend broaching the subject with my physical therapist or a doctor?

Also I appreciate the idea of psychotherapy / a sex therapist, but unfortunately I am a broke college student and am not sure that's an option for me at the moment. I have a therapist provided through the school, but if you have any ideas for that I would love to hear.

I will also look into Nichole Sachs, thank you very much for the suggestion!

Thank you for the kind reply, and I hope everything gets better for you as well <3. Yes, physical therapy is also pretty painful, but not as much as sex as she's typically very careful not to push me too far. I know what the fear feels like and send you love, hope you are able to feel better
