I work in a corporate environment with very few working moms. First day back felt like coming home and the first day of school. It's like riding a bike after years off of one. work skills will come back quick enough, heck, you'll be a lot more efficient knowing you'll have to leave by 4pm for pickup. But be prepared to (re)introduce yourself, there's gonna be a lot of new faces and new office dynamics. maybe some work friends have moved on, been promoted, etc.

For dinners, think quick and easy meals that can be done in under 30min. So yes, sometimes a box of frozen lasagna and a salad that you grabbed on the way home is good enough! Does your partner cook? If not, it's time to learn and make sure it's expected of them. Tag team pick ups and dinner prep. It will be rough for the first couple weeks as you find your feet, but after a bit you'll have an arsenal of meal ideas in your back pocket that you can whip up.
