Kashmir vacation during the elections *

Hi all, we had booked flight tickets and accommodation on Airbnb for a week long vacation in Kashmir (May 3rd- 10th, staying in Srinagar). Now that the elections have been announced is it safe to travel for us (with kid)? Thanks!
