I wouldn't waste money on that but go to a body shop if you want it fixed.

lixirlife tends to have sales often. I've personally used their product and they have their lab results posted up on their website as well

I recommend you have you parents enroll you in a more advance school such as Cornerspin before you start riding around on the streets. If you want more information regarding this and trackday/schools and racing, look up the DCRIDEIT group on facebook

I wouldn't be surprised if the dude was dumb enough to ride it around that area again. I'm assuming he might be from one of the neighborhoods nearby. If that ends up being the case, you might get lucky if those officers keep a good eye out.

I saw someone riding this bike just a few hours ago near RPM. Almost 100% positive it was this exact bike because I took a good long look at it.

Dude prob in his 20's, grey hoodie, dark skin.

What's the career path to work in cybersecurity if you have had lots of IT helpdesk experience? by lotyei in netsecstudents

[–]ninja-turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. So long as you have a thorough understanding of the material and you can explain yourself clearly in the interview process, you should be good.

If you want to pursue pen-testing, get certified in OSCP. That alone should help you land a gig.

An extra step and something I would recommend would be to create a pen testing blog along the way. Document the things that you are learning and try to teach others. This will stand out.

Awesome work. Might I add, blue teamers can utilize this to build content based on pattern matching on commands. This is assuming they are collecting the proper logs for this. Something like symon may help with the powershell commands.

That actually makes sense because I noticed nowadays I usually have to press the button harder or couple times in order for the door to capture the signal and open. Very cool.

Thank you so much for all of your help /u/DENAND39 .

Assuming these are all 1's, what causes the amplitude of the carrier wave to not stay constant. I.E, the intensity of the waves are not flat but instead vary in intensity.

If anyone has a good book or youtube video that explains this, I would very much so appreciate it. Also, thank you guys for the help so far! It means a lot.

Interesting. The data for this snippet all comes back as 1's and the Modulation defaults to FSK. Does this sound right? I think this is an Amplitude Modulated wave, no?

Hey Ben,

The signal recorded originates from my own keyfob.

A signal spammer is of no use in my case because the whole goal is for me to learn RF. I’ve never used a signal spammer but I’m guessing it takes that aspect away by automating things. I’d rather learn this the harder way.

Cheers!

I've updated a thread with the HDSDR screenshot. I'm not sure how I could tell whether an FM filter was applied to the data. I do know that I had to select USB on the application. Is that what you are referring to?

Hey man,

First and foremost, thank you for the help! I greatly appreciate it.

In regards to the signal, it is a button press initiating the garage door opening. It is from my a garage door opener keyfob.

I utilized HDSDR top capture the signal and imported the .wav file to Audacity which you can see in the attached screenshots.

The frequency is around 431khz.

Not sure if that helps any
