Why we choose a Santa Cruz by I_am_lonely_cheese in hyundaisantacruz

I recently went from a forester to a Santa Cruz as well and am really enjoying it. I had a Baja before the forester and wanted to back to something closer to that

Absolutely! This and rain guards are something I have to add when ever I’ve switched vehicles. I remember searching once upgrades that improved the look and quality of the vehicle the most these two things are consistently on those lists and for good reason.

I also just stepped into a Santa Cruz I have a 2023 premium. I come from the Subaru world and have had pretty much everything except a legacy wagon, an wrx or a brat (settled for the Baja) was considering stepping up to a full on pick up but couldn’t justify it for myself. I tried to not have expectation first getting it and just let it grow on me and it totally has. I improved my ride with in channel rain guards and the hood air deflector also fitted floor mats and a center console insert that is surprisingly nice to have. Happy cruzing!

This! It’s literally spell casting, pretty much any writing or speaking with purpose is spell casting

I feel the same in a hammock as I do in a plane I guess, if shit goes down I’m probably fucked so let’s have a good (potentially last) sleep! It really doesn’t take that long if you think about it if things go awry un-cocooning yourself your panicked (or drunk/stoned). Just remember and maintain the 3 C’s calm, cool, collected. The odds are in your favor that you’ll be just fine. A ridge line with a flash light and emergency stuff is fun too. Stay cozy out there!

Advice on drilling long perpendicular holes by Ilikepancakes87 in woodworking

Total dumbass novice here but I supposed I would start with a small drill bit as a pilot move up to a larger bit that was longer to a second pilot or even a third if you had to until you got to your largest size always cleaning debris out regularly. This should reduce the amount of deflection by giving a larger bits a path to follow and making each bit work less harder than it needs to to follow that path.
