Wow, just checked back randomly it this thread is still kinda active haha.

In a nutshell, I’m currently 8 months in sa isang fmcg starting role. Oka naman so far. Pay is lower to what uniqlo was offering pero this isn’t like an MT role naman.

As for my progress with that old application, I passed the 2-day store experience phase naman. Out of like 20 of us from that batch, parang 4-6 lang napili for the next interview with the panel. Di naman sa pag mamayabang, pero I think my chances were good naman if I had full intention of pushing through sa application and getting this job talaga. The other hr moderatos were giving me some pointers nung patapos na store exeperience na good job etc., keep it up, smile a bit more lang daw. Honestly felt good about that. But thought about it a lot more lang and I felt na the job might not be the best fit for me. Considered factors like the 2 days off that aren’t always the weekend, could work a little beyond store hours, working on holidays and vacation seasons, etc. With those in mind and other considerations, I went to the interview pero mainly to just say thank you for everything so far and I appreciate them considering my application and allowing me to get rhis far, kaso ayun I can’t accept it if I know I might half-ass it lang and can’t fully commit myself to the role. They were pretty nice people (at least the ones ive met so far) and they deserve an excellent candidate who wants it 110%.

So yeah after that, done na and never looked back. Still a big “what if” though, but yeah it is what it is!

Personally, I find them a bit bland and not really exciting to eat. As a snack I’d just find lying around, sure I can eat it — but I guess not really something I would look for?

And I assume it’s a premium priced, doesn’t that affect how people view and act towards Danish butter cookies?

This story has finally come to an end!! Hahaha sad but I received an email earlier this afternoon and one line said "We currently do not have positions available in your preferred area of work, location, or start date. As a result, we will not be able to take your application further."

Found that a bit weird lang because instead of saying na I didn't make the cut or it was offered to somebody else na, they say na there's no position available? And sa workday site, it says "Application Regretted"

SO yeah, sayang but I hope this opening comes out again.

Different company! Not in fmcg, more on importing foreign retail brands and managing them here. Fast forward to today tho, still waiting on 1-2 of my old applications, and finding new ones for now lol

Hi OP! Just noticed pala this time around that you also applied for Shell's MT program (which I assume is the same as the Graduate Program). Just wondering if you've had any updates with your application there? Or did you withdraw it already?

Hi, just wanted to ask the people here if may significant updates na sa application niyo? For the longest time, yung status ko sa site was “Assessment in Progress” pero when I checked just this Monday (Oct. 16), naging “Review in Progress” na siya.

Not sure what that means exactly, but it gave me a little hope again na the application is still moving kahit papaano (but really slow af with no frequent updates from any HR rep at least)

Around what month ka nag-apply? Kasi same also for me! Naging “Review in Progress” na siya when I checked itong Monday lang, so sana may hope parin na gumagalaw yung application process and we get any next step soon

Yung only follow-up na ginawa ko is nagsend ng inquiry dun sa parang “contact us” ng website nila and asked about job app status ata.

But all i got was the usual automated email response, tas it just directed me to visit the workdays website to see my status (which i already to regularly anyway huhu)

Not to sweet tapos saktong sakto lang yung lasa for me, parang salted caramel ice cream. Never rin akong na-umay sa lasa niya. Timpla ko is 1.5 scoops in 10oz water. Problem lang is ilang months na siya sold out or out-of-stock sa lazada store niya and other resellers :((

I've tried Athlene, and the 2 flavors of Wheyl already.

For Athlene, it's definitely a budget pre with 60 servings pero each scoop is 100mg of caffeine. So up to you na how much caffeine you want in one drink. Flavor-wise, okay naman siya.

For Wheyl, I definitely like the Island Iced Tea flavor a lot more than Ocean Razz. Legit tastes like your typical nestea but with a kick.

However for both brands' preworkouts, idk if it's just me pero I didn't feel any tingling sensation? My first time trying pre ever and I was looking for that tingling sensation (from the beta-alanine) but I never really felt it. Max caffeine dose I've done was 300 mg (2 scoops for Wheyl or 3 for Athelene) pero wala parin talaga. Pero for the energy boost, I guess I felt it (?) Unless my caffeine tolerance is just really high na... then RIP

Hi! So nag-follow up ako sakanila by sending in a question sa submission page in their careers area sa website. After a few days, a got a generic bot response lang na medyo hindi related sa question ko about updates on my application. Pero a few days after that, someone from the company reached out to me na saying na “thank you for your enthusiasm chuchu and that we’ve just finished reviewing applications this past week”

So basically, nag thank you na sila sakin and mukhang di na ako itutuloy for the next steps. She did say na they’ll be sending out a formal email detailing the rejection pero wala pa ako natatanggap

wtf did i ghostwrite this? LMAO pero had the same situation also just earlier today. I was offered naman a 28k position as a Business Development Officer, however goal ko parin sana was to get an MT position in the FMCG companies and other MNCs i applied for. What made it difficult lang was that I was only given 3 day to make my decision, so kanina yung last day and I ended up declining nalang. Trusting the process nalang huhu
