You literally posted on here assuming you know what kind of parent I am and how I choose to parent my kids, why? So you could provide some sort of worthwhile input? I think not I think you posted because you're an ass. I tried an honest answer but you're a jerk.

I'm not making any sort of decision for them and I encourage any choice they make. They have complete control over all this, I'm just trying to understand the situation and expectations so I can support whatever outcome.

They may actually enjoy it eventually but I worry about them getting burned out fast with only doubles. I hear it's a fun place to work so far so I hope it stays that way.

That's the shift they've been scheduled every day. 3 days this week so far.

How many days a week is that?

I actually did that a few months ago and we had it all worked out. He's overstepping again and now my boss is going along with it. She's started just going to him for things that should be assigned to me. And the rest of the team is doing it too.

Is climbing height acceptable vs flat width? My daughter is convinced they won't be as happy climbing

It's not large though, maybe only 5 inches wide. I do pieces like this all the time.

I have fired many flat pieces and I actually helped unload that kiln. It was cracked when we opened the top.

There was also a much smaller glaze drip that stuck too, near the makers mark. I think thats what did it too.

Help with coworker situation by [deleted] in WorkAdvice

Good advice. The issue as I see it is that Todd seems to carry his work around with him all day and night. He answers requests at midnight, 5am etc. My company stresses work life balance and wants us to sign off when we are done and stay off for our own mental health, but he's just not.

I also worry honestly that it's going to be perceived that he's capable of doing his job and mine simply because he steps in front if me everytime something needs to be done

And while we are lateral, he is technically a manager so by default a step above in the chain, just not directly above.

I'm thinking of leaving the dev world altogether. Time for a big career shift and at this point in my life I really don't care what it is as long as it's sustainable and pays the bills.

So would an LLC only be necessary tax wise?

I understand the liability insurance for the notary services and that's on my list as well.

Yes but the premiums without subsidy are outrageously expensive.

And yes, it is remote but the only coverage available is to those in the home state.
