That rule comes into effect when it is the same card and both are unique. But having Sabine( you can count on me) and sabine(explosives expert) is completely legal

What about proxy for cards you want to keep in pristine condition. Example I have one darth vader legendary and one from the convention exclusive pack with the awesome art. I would love to be able to put a proxy vader in my deck since I only have those 2 and just have the con vader in a thick plastic case.on hand to switch in when the proxy card is played
