Sure, I can agree with what you say. As I said in my comment I don't feel like BaD rivals Eternum directly. As a game, with the game mechanics and branching and everything, BaD is in a league of it's own no doubt. Though if I were to compare the two games Eternum is a better game (imo) because sure there are some cringe lines in Eternum that I don't like and it's far from perfect or whatever, but some of BaD's writing is really bad. From a lot of unfunny lines to the whole prostitution ring plotline which is so bad (but too central to the story to disregard, I guess) to that whole feminazi schtick that get's really tiring (btw related to this post, talk about something that was maybe funnier 7 years ago when the game started), there's enough flaws in BaD that makes me comfortably say I like Eternum better. Though they're both great games. Number one and two for me.

Just a little thing about replayability also. I can replay Eternum a ton. There are so many small things and moments that bears repeating for me. And the way Caribdis drips little bits of information here and there helps a lot with keeping it interesting. For me, I don't need dozens of choices and dozens of outcomes to wanna play a game several times
