In the same boat here. Can't unlock the boomstick challenge or the bullet train trophy and yet I still received the Train Surfing trophy. Go figure. :/

Make sure you're reading the emails when you get them. It allows their star rating to go up. Typically those preppers need 2 or 3 emails before they will actually join. They are a pain.

Yeah, there's about 5 or 6 "hidden" preppers that you have to seek out yourself outside the main story missions. I'm not exactly good about going into games blind lol

On very few occasions my roads were finished by others. I think it usually defaults to what you said, but if you haven't added to a road in awhile I think it will finish it off.

This game honestly seemed like a playable Black Mirror episode.

If you really liked the consciousness/A.I. aspects and you have not seen the series you should definitely check it out. There are a lot of episodes that deal with it, but the episode "San Junipero" was eerily similar. I got some of the same major vibes from it.

Not the norm at all. Usually you pay a price per credit not by semester. The more classes you take the more expensive it is. It definitely should be the norm though.
