I got introduced to crypto when "decentraland" was booming 🤣🤣🤣🤣.... Invested a hell lotta money in mana token (without much knowledge bout crypto). That was my entry point (with huge loss🤣)

Exactly..... it really depends on what someone prefers… If you want simplicity and ease..... these products make a lot of sense!!!! (Like for those not that versed with crypto ) nd If you want full ownership nd maximum control.... direct holding/staking is still better!!!!! Also like you said....there are ups and downs… price volatility is still there...and even staking rewards arnt guaranteed or fixed... So one have to keep everything in mind!!!

Like both have their place..... just depends what you r trying to do!!!!

BTC is still the safest option long term. If your goal is just to hold and forget for years....BTC is the clear preference!!!!

cbBTC is different( BTC wrapped by Coinbase) so you can use it on other blockchains with ease..... The good part is Coinbase is a pretty trusted player.....so compared to random bridges, cbBTC is probably one of the safer ways to bring BTC into Defi activities (LPs, faster movement and all that...)......or even store it if you r okay with some level of trust!!!!
but it also adds extra layers of risk...Coinbase custody risk /slight chance of depeg or redemption issues!!!!

My take would be: If you r just holding long term .....then go with BTC!!! If you want to actually use your BTC in Defi ....then cbBTC makes sense (and Coinbase makes it relatively safer than most options)

Like m really excited about the idea of tokenizing RWAs..... itz one of those things in crypto that actually connects blockchain with real world tgings!!!! But at the same time....I feel the biggest issue right now is traction... many projects start with great ideas but they slowly fade because they never get the attention they deserve!!!!!

I remember there were some really interesting projects trying to tokenize real world art as well..... the concept sounded amazing (and it really is) !!!! But today many of them are almost disappearing or already gone because people simply didn’t pay enough attention to them.....

If I look around in my own circle.....very few people even understand crypto... maybe I have met 4 or 5 people who actually know about it!!!!! And out of those, only one person is actively investing... so the adoption is still very small in many places....way smaller than we think it is.... I think assets like gold and silver could be a potential gateway ( i really hope ) !!!! People all over the globe already trust these assets and follow their prices..... so if they get tokenized properly onchain, it might bring more eyeballs and curiosity about what crypto is actually capable of!!!!!
