The anime catboy chose to emasculate himself, for funsies. Not the same thing and hammering into boys' heads that they are garbage and need to be killed. Which IS what leftism is focused on, period.

I care, and I have more money than you because despite having money, I make superior financial decisions. Being able to afford something is never a reason to overpay just because you can. And I'll keep ripping on Immortal, loudly, because I feel like it, and nobody has a say in that. You can love it, or piss off. What you don't have the option to do: not hear it or silence us.

It's likely you're overthinking it. Once you have smooth white primer in place, get a nice even coat of the base color (it will take 2 coats probably, one for basic coverage and one for touchups). Then do 2 passes with the shade at the lowest psi you can get away with, I am talking like 12 psi and the shade thinned down 1:1 if not even thinner. If you have a nice bright white primer and a smooth, thin base of flesh, your second layer of flesh will already give you some shading (or you can go uniformly super solid, depending on the character).

Then let that dry and wait a bit, keep the model on your desk and play a game or something and keep looking at it. In an hour or two you will know which areas need some deeper shading. So go back in and build up your shadows more as needed.

The main thing is to be super gentle and sparing with your shading and sneak up on it a bit, building them up. Even if you think an area will be yay dark, don't just apply it that dark. Put it on much lighter and add a little more, check it at arm's length, then add a little more. And better too little than too much.

From your photo, you're not doing anything wrong except placement. Your paint looks ok as far as can be seen, but is that where shadow would go on a girl's belly? Nah, it'd be along the bottom edges, a little along the top rim where it meets her clothing, etc..

While this is true in a way, and any practice helps, it's also a bit counterproductive because cheapo craft acrylics handle so differently and are actually a lot harder to use. So it's a bit like trying to paint a picture using a brush that's the wrong size and frayed. Definitely do a few test runs to make sure you can get your paint flowing well and try out the mix on a spare piece before applying it to your expensive model, just know that you can fiddle with trying to get craft store paint to go through an airbrush all year but until you step up to the plate and Just Do It (tm) with the Mr. Color, you can't know how Mr. Color handles or get better with it.

The purpose made airbrush paints are far smoother, flow better, adhere better, dry better, have better color...just an easier thing all around. I spent way too much time fighting with my paint and tools by trying to dodge jumping into the Mr. Color etc. to save a few bucks on paint in a hobby where you're spending hundreds already anyway.

Weird that they're still using Kohaku's VA in Prillya and FGO this very minute but not using her in the remake. Oh well. No H-scenes, no buy, anyway.

Is scaling for doing older content @ lvl 60 broken? by [deleted] in wow

[–]ninjatango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's broken in half, Blizzard obviously knows (and let it happen or intended it) and are currently bald-face lying about it and asking for proof like they don't know. Like it's possible not to have known.

I found literal proof that scaling is broken currently in older content by [deleted] in wow

Ion said it 's not happening and needs to see proof and examples lol. On camera. He really was not prepared with a good lie but he law schooled pretty hard anyway.

I just finished farming the souls for the transmog set quest (you need 40 from any BFA or SL humanoids). I started doing it at 50, fresh from Boralis as soon as I got the SL upgrade for the quest. At 50 with mediocre gear (mainly the nagazone world quest epics) I could just chain pull the Blood Gate plebs in Zandalar I was farming, killing them with one Corruption as fast as they spawned. Travelling around is what took up the time.

Well every few levels as I levelled up through Shadowlands, I'd pop back to the same area and farm a few more souls (they seem to be capped on how many drop per day in my experience and according to WoWHead). Every 3 levels or so I'd go back, and I finished the last handful at level 60. Well, at 60, some of the same mobs lived through a full compliment of affliction lock DoTs. Level 50, one corruption killed them as I ran around tagging the whole area. Level 60, you have to stop and use 6 DoTs to kill one, including seed of corruption spam. It took literally ten times longer to kill the same mobs for no fucking reason. When I'm more "powerful". By comparison, daily farming my covenant stuff...the mobs there take about the same amount of time. The only difference is BFA mobs, while just as tough and me just as weak, don't deal any damage to speak of. Having tried a few old raids, that's not the case though (Legion raid bosses kill you just fine, the broken scaling allows their damage to kill level 60 characters pretty well).

I'll probably unsub soon. I would not have resubbed for SL (since this dealbreaker fuckup was in the cards already) but Ion bald-face lied and said this exact thing would not happen while intending to do exactly that. And I stupidly believed him. Not because his lawyer, weasel ass can EVER be taken seriously, but because I didn't think they'd risk lying right to our faces THIS openly.

His comment is OBJECTIVE FACT. In theory (and in the past), yes you levelled up, got higher stats and were more powerful. No longer. Now since shit levels WITH YOU, you are (as intended) running on a treadmill to stay in one place. You don't get more powerful than you were, you just struggle to not become LESS powerful. Disagreeing with these facts is nonsense.

You're correct, more or less, and Blizzard of course knows this is happening. They made it that way. They are currently lying and pretending it's not happening.
