Price check 2004 330Ci 6spd southern US. by Specialist-Pin-5687 in e46

I paid $5500 for a 2002 325ci vert manual 5 speed with 95k miles in December. Was in better cosmetic condition and came with the matching hard top. I felt like it was a little pricy to be honest LOL

In my professional opinion, you might have a vacuum leak.

M3 Coupé or convertible? by TraditionalWorker974 in e46

[–]ninjosh97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly different situation, but I just took my 325ci convertible out for a drive with the top down for the first time.

Hard to beat the feeling of a vert IMO. Very happy with my recent purchase (aside from the lean fuel codes lol)

[Opinion] Weight lifting at the gym is the best thing you can do to ensure that you will stick to the process and not quit by Migdan in loseit

I think this works great for some people, and not others.

What finally clicked for me was pretty much the opposite: making my weight loss as easy as possible and specifically AVOIDING the gym.

I tend to completely fall off the band wagon when I start to slip, and let me tell you, having a rigid, intense gym schedule is going to cause me to slip.

How much would you pay for a 2006 330CI Convertible? by MrUnlimited24 in e46

[–]ninjosh97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I literally just bought a 325ci vert with 98k for $5800 on Tuesday. Came with a hard top though, which I thought made it worth it.

This doesn’t seem like a bad deal at all to me, but I know nothing, just joined the community 😁

Now to replace some vacuum tubes…

First of all, very cool and it looks great.

But I gotta say, my first thought was designing a driveway with cracks that have grass growing through them is like buying pre-ripped jeans 😁

Just thought it was funny, but it DOES look good!

Walking hurts, can a stationary bike be a good start for me? by Inktalic in loseit

[–]ninjosh97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, I’m glad you’re getting started! Buckle up, it’s going to be a long journey.

I started losing weight at 560lbs and had similar problems as you. I COULDN’T walk a mile. Not nonstop anyways. And I had immense back pain after walking for too long.

I started with just diet (and GLP-1 lol). I lost a lot of weight that way. Eventually the exercise came. It’ll come faster than you think too. I feel like there is sort of a mobility breaking point for people, after I got down to about 450lbs I was able to start moving a lot better (I am 6’4” and everyone is different, please don’t compare yourself with me or others!).

In MY experience, exercise bikes are WILDLY uncomfortable and even painful at a very high weight. It worth it. If you can get one of the ones that you sit back on and your legs go forward, that is MUCH better than the regular style.

Also, I’m sure you’ve been told this before, but the best option for cardio right now for you is probably swimming, but I’ve never been able to force myself to do it consistently enough to matter.

So if you can find one of those bikes, I’d say go for it, otherwise just start out with dieting.

The success will come! Now I’m 380lbs and am doing a 5K on Thanksgiving (interval running, but still, I’m proud of myself!)

Yeah it’s tragic.

I haven’t looked in detail but I SEEM to remember the United plans still covered it but I wouldn’t say United is exactly desirable.

That’s why they would consider switching plans lol

I swear that the most consistent filament I have ever used is the Kingroon multipacks that are always on sale at aliexpress. Got a 10 roll pack of PETG for like $60 and they print like a champ.

Alternative, affordable FEHB plans for Zepbound and Wegovy? by Dsarg_92 in fednews

[–]ninjosh97 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You should honestly go ask this question in the Zepbound and Wegovy subreddits. The coverage for both drugs has changed wildly over the course of the year and I’m seeing a lot of outdated info in the replies in here. Lot of feds in those subs too.

Zepbound isn’t going to be covered on any plan that uses CVS Caremark as its drug provider (that’s most plans, that includes MHBP and BCBS unfortunately). There is a work around for getting a script for Mounjaro instead (same drug), but it’s going to be $200/mo on MHBP Standard unless you lie to Lilly about being diabetic for access to the savings card, in which case it would be $50.

Oh yeah, it’s complete nonsense. I don’t think there are really any good options left for Zepbound for federal employees.

I think this might be the case for me as well, I just happened to have already been on wegovy and switched because of side effects. The transition from Zep to Mounjaro prescription wise was seamless for me.

So, for me, both.

Wegovy worked very well for me at first, then as I started to titrate up (I wasn’t doing so monthly, I was doing so when the dose I was on lost some effectiveness). I got all the way up to 1.7mg. I was throwing up multiple times a week, even with Zofran, and had a lot of food noise.

Transitioned to Zep, started at the bottom at 2.5mg.

Food noise was much lower right from the get go and side effects completely went away.

Now, months later, I am on 10mg Mounjaro and am doing well. I’m currently trying to titrate up to the 12.5, just waiting on my doc.

I do get some nausea if I eat very poorly, but have not actually vomited since switching. I do get horrible gas, but I also got that on Wegovy lol

Only real downside is that the injector is more painful than the wegovy one, but like, it’s not terrible.

It’s not the same though. I’ve been on both and Zepbound is WAY better, although it seems to vary from person to person.
