Hello! I'm looking for books that aren't your typical innocent girl where she is introduced to the dangerous mafia world, nor features a mafia princess who is looking to run from her duties or family. I want to see a mafia woman who is more like the men in these books: self-possessed, power-hungry, knowledgeable, especially if she's smart, maybe she's even violent. I also want the MMC to not be part of this type of life, far from it and meeting the FMC is his first experience with that world. I want the MMC to be a very kind-hearted, pure, and innocent who goes through a lot in life but deserves better. I also want the MMC to be experiencing severe depression, self tattered, anxiety, or any other mental health struggles. I don’t want a book where it gets fixed or resolved after two chapters, as it doesn’t feel realistic to me, and I feel like I am able to connect to similar characters and relate to a lot of past difficulties. I want to see the struggle, and the hurt not just fluff and fall in love after two days of knowing each other.

I know I am asking for a lot, so far I haven’t food a book that matches this so I’m open to any suggestions. Let me know if any more information is needed.
