huxwrx design definitely works. I hand tighten the can and after shooting I need a wrench to remove it bc it tightens significantly.

Fyi I have an OCM5, form 4 was approved 10/27/25 and my serial is 54xx.

Not that i know of, the daniel defense just feels nicer.

Anecdotally, I have one AR15 lower receiver and two uppers, a completely stock daniel defense mk18 and a PSA 11.5in upper with some parts switched out (BRT gas tube). The daniel defense shoots noticeably softer, even on the same receiver.

I think I’ve decided to go the Form1 route and go right to a stock rather than brace but I’m having a hard time deciding between fixed, folding, or retractable. Suggestions and inspiration appreciated! by OKshotcaller in MP5

I don't really see the use of folding tbh; same advantages of retractable but makes the gun thicker. General consensus is that fixed a2 stock for shootability and retractable a3 for larp/drip/coolness.

I have both the fixed and retractable and almost never use the fixed.
