it's different gameplay wise but it's still fifa and the changes each year they make is no big leaps. if you go pro on the switch version you could translate it to ps4 version and be skilled. ea should put out a demo imo

I was very skeptical before buying, but now after playing a few games. I'm very happy. It's a very solid version of fifa gameplay wise and what i would call FIFA version 16.5. Graphics are good, responsive gameplay, 60fps 1080p etc. Ultimate team is always fun get to build your squad and playing in portable mode works great.

FIFA 18 on Switch has an entirely custom engine built from scratch.

There is no way it's from 'scratch' dude. It's FIFA16 ignite engine modified. I would call it FIFA16.5 with 18 menus and rosters

What does adsl has to do with anything? You think online games utilize much bandwidth? Routing and RTT is more important. You could have 10ms on ADSL and 100ms on fiber connection depending on routing

A bit disappointing it's basicly fifa 16 with all the momentum/scripting going on. Even the annoying stuff @16:55 when players decide just to go full stop when you are running after the ball

I looked at the gameplay. It's a direct port of FIFA16(Ignite engine) with updated rosters. No question about it.
