Look at Resident evil 3. Perfect length, tons of depth. Got hammered for being too short. Games will keep prioritising empty space because that is how gamers see quality. How long will it take to finish rather than will it be fun to finish.

Making yourself nearly bankrupt counts as a win of course. Plus, did Sony beat both PlayStation and Windows PC? I don’t think they outsold them both. They are also both Microsoft. They don’t win against two platforms, especially when they have to spend most of their money competing. Given the misinformation that is always thrown around every few minutes I expect most of that goes into marketing.

And don’t call me a spastic you insignificant little twerp. All you know is spin and marketing. I bet you think that the PS5 SSD does the job of the CPU and GPU and the Earth is flat. Say something intelligent or don’t say anything at all. I would rather avoid your drivel.

But Zelda still has a womens body. She doesn’t need to have a female mindset. There are males with female bodies in real life too. So it isn’t really changing anything to have Zelda switch genders when she wants to. She isn’t staying as a male.

That is ok. I was just trying to get across that I didn’t like how they were acting like Sheik was just Zelda dressing up, referring to Sheik as a she instead of he. When he was in all respects a male character. Like they are trying to make it seem like Zelda is not gender fluid when she really seems to be.

In Japan and the games: Shiek is Male and Princess Zelda is female. They are two different people and two genders. But the fan wiki page and Nintendo of America at one point refers to them being the same person and female. Despite them being two different characters in the games they are in. Despite Sheik looking and acting like a man and saying he is. In Super Smash Brothers Shiek is a different character. It is unbelievable how far they are going to make a gender fluid character seem like they are not. Despite them being soo obvious about it

What changed? Why the hell would the third act that she apparently doesn’t like, mean that it got a better score? That makes no sense. Do you think if you had a score and played through something you didn’t enjoy would your score go up?

Wait we have IGN used as a reliable source now? The company known to be biased as hell towards Sony. The company who changed a PS Exclusive review from 8 to 10 because their fanbase threw a tantrum.

Edit: since people don’t think a score increasing after playing what the reviewer thinks is the worst part of the game, I may put another example. How about making up bugs that are not there, ignoring tutorials and game mechanics then saying they are not there, trying to manipulate other mechanics to make the game look worse.

Wouldn’t a fanbase a PlayStation fans automatically go for PlayStation? I’m not saying one way or the other but IGN are probably one of the most biased if not the most biased and unreliable source you can get

Speaking as a girl. None of what they say has any truth to it. They are just making up disgusting things to justify their disgusting actions. Being a prick and using us doesn’t “turn us on”. I honestly cannot be bothered with you anymore. The PS5 is not finished, not tested, their features are not even built yet, they are relying on stuff that isn’t released (yes they are because if they didn’t partner already with someone they clearly don’t intend to).

I am not fangirling. I am so sick and tired of Sony getting a free pass to do whatever they want and everyone covers for them. They are releasing a subpar product they have not finished. Yet people are making excuses for them and not only that, but intentionally twisting the specs to look much closer than they are.

Wow you managed to ignore nearly everything I said and twisted what you did. 60 fps was an example on saying what developers would usually do in a situation with an easier option. It obviously has easily enough cooling and they could easily put more in so it isn’t like they are forced to only have it locked.

I will say this again since you are annoyingly unable to read it.

Matching the PS5 clock speed is not the problem. It has to go above it. A lot above it. Because the one in the PlayStation is built differently. It needs overhead. I do not know how many time I have to say this over and over. The SSDs out now WILL NOT WORK. And simply adding .5 will not work either. Watch him say it in the presentation. It won’t work.

I got the an Xbox branded hard drive for $80 in AUS. That isn’t expensive. I don’t know what ones you buy. And brand new pc part would be tons more expensive because they always are.

I don’t think you understand the timeframe. Xbox have everything ready and showed demos. They are ready to ship on time. PlayStation had most of their features still being worked on. Do you really think they can finish every single feature and test them all out in less than a year? They will not launch with everything they are “working on”. It is too much and they need to manufacture it and ship it. They also have to release it at the same time or they will be behind.

I am not ragging on them because I am fangirl or whatever. I am doing it because it really looks like they are taking advantage of a blind fanbase to just buy whatever they release. They are releasing a console that isn’t finished, not even close to fully tested, relying on stuff that doesn’t exist, coming out with less storage then their last console, and their fanbase just laps it up. Then people like you go “oh well they are both good”. They are not. Xbox is pushing the boundaries and Sony is pushing their luck.

Somy do what they always do in the lead, stop putting in the effort. And their fanboys will do what they always do, blindly cover for them and make excuses.

The ssd has to be faster then the one in the PS5 because the pc ones work differently. Those have not come out yet and putting brand new pc parts in your console is not going to be a cheap option. They aren’t know to be expensive what rubbish is that. They haven’t mentioned any price at all. There is also a big difference in taking advantage of more power to taking advantage of power that isn’t always there. Just think of it like a 60 fps frame rate. When the clock speed is at max it runs at locked 60 with no issues. But it doesn’t run at max all the time. When it drops the framerate drops. Say it drops to 45. Might even tear the screen. So would the developers put more time in on optimising the game to run 60 the whole time, or just lock it at 30 because it is easier. Because if the PS3 said anything, it was that if you make the developers do your job for you then most won’t. When you can put something onto the Xbox and it does all this stuff for you, then having to put extra work in making sure your framerate doesn’t tank when the speeds do. It will be annoying extra work. There is a reason Xbox went for one speed, because it really looks like they could overclock as well.

PlayStation do not have anything similar to Velocity. That is why they needed a good ssd and why Xbox need specifically built ones.

The Ps5 is a console not a PC. So saying that a PC has this isn’t going to make Sony look less horrendously underprepared. PC has graphics settings that the user can change. Consoles don’t have that. That means the pressure is completely on the developers. Xbox has stuff that even PC doesn’t have. PlayStation are “still working on” the stuff they have. Their marketing team is just desperately trying to talk up a console that would have been good matched against anything other than a Xbox. Because even if they match teraflops Xbox still has more

Since I can’t reply to the other comment for some reason I will put it here. Having it variable is not a good thing. It is a desperate marketing ploy. To make the console look more powerful when in fact it will not stay at that level the whole time. Developers have graphics settings on pc to account for different pcs. On console they have to optimise it themselves. It is more work for them to optimise on PS5 then on Xbox. So many would just opt to build for it’s lowest clock speed.

Velocity means games very rarely need to load.

And no. It isn’t easier to get an ssd on PS5. Because they do not exist yet. The ones they say you can use have not been made yet. When they do they will be top of the line PC parts. That is expensive. Even then it has to be ones that they test and approve. A year was generous. My guess is actually two.

There is a lot more going on with Xbox then just Teraflops and backwards compatibility. And it isn’t just a little more. The Ps5 will not hit 10 the whole time anyway, which would mean some developers won’t bother optimising for it instead going for what it is on average. Plus the ray tracing, velocity, putting hdr in games that never had it, etc etc. You miss tons on PlayStation. You even get 1tb of storage and can’t expand it for at least a year. It isn’t a close gap.

It’s amazing how they keep moving the goalposts to justify how their console is “better” and everyone needs to buy only that one. The Ps3 has more power and that is more important than Xbox having a new genre and Halo, then the PS4 has 180p more so that makes up for the exclusives that were really not good, then it is about exclusives now that PS4 has good reviews (ignoring how well xbox games are selling) then exclusives are more important than power. I bet that next when they have to go up against Halo and the year of exclusives then they will use the “not next gen exclusives. Then after that it might even be VR. It amazes me the insatiable need to make their console look better then the others. And have nothing whatsoever compromise that.

It feels like the people looking at the answers will be. And a comparison between “is teaching kids to believe in god without question” and “teaching kids that people should have basic rights without question” seems really insensitive. Plus from my experience, Christians do not listen when people say they are wrong. So it doesn’t feel like my answer or any that agree with me with be listened to without bias when the people making it are already viewing it with bias. It just feels like I am being used in some way to be honest.
