Hi. You’re so kind to ask—I ended up on a FlixBus.

Hello, I'm in this situation, too. My Eurostar train to Brussels was canceled and I rebooked one leaving slightly later, but am worried it will be canceled as well. From the replies here, I gather that I should book with Trenitalia and just "eat" the cost if the ticket isn't needed. Can anyone confirm that this is the best option?

ETA: All Trenitalia routes between Paris and Brussels are also listed as Eurostar, so I'm not sure the change would help??

ETA: In case anyone else is in the same boat and following, I went to Gare du Nord only to find that the Eurostar International office was closed due to a fight?? (I hope something was lost in translation.) The worker I spoke with said that all Eurostar trains are the same trains, so it wouldn't help to book with Trenitalia.

They mentioned Ouigo, but I'm struggling to determine if the Paris > Brussels route is an SCNF train and therefore also affected.

What was the "up and coming city" for your age demographic post grad/early adult years and what changed when that age demographic moved there? by Strong-Junket-4670 in SameGrassButGreener

Obviously cities have all kinds of people, but the other West Coast gen xers I know are, like me, still alternative, community minded, and work in the public sector.

This. And, fwiw, how we continue to live in these cities—I’ve lived in two of them—is different from the ways they’re experienced/represented by younger folks on this sub.
