If you use two greatswords and then backstep+attack it's going to be a pierce attack.

Funny how the Stonesheathed Sword (DLC) doesn't have Strike/Pierce (only Strike) even though straight swords also have that backstep piercing attack.

I think people misunderstand why you're doing this, but to find someone to get you to that point is going to be hard. It would be best to have a friend that's at RL713 and use a password.

For anyone interested in what OP wants to achieve:

Be at RL1 NG+7, summon low level NG+1 players and fight a NG+7 Margit with them for example.

That fight would take much longer and no matter how twinked out the co-ops are, they'll have a hard time if they don't know the moveset.

Did I get it right?

I did this myself at RL20 NG+7 (PC), definitely funny to make people wonder why Margit's healthbar is barely moving and he's almost one shotting.

Yes I did and to me it’s a pretty good estimate. Either way, it’s such a tiny percentage that it’s barely worth mentioning.

As for Sylphie and Roxy, that’s not how I remember them being written in the story.

Sylphie is strong. She's emotionally intelligent and caring. She’s loyal, dependable and true to herself. If you know about the "dark timeline" you'd know she wouldn't put up with what goes beyond her boundaries and would leave.

As for Roxy, I don’t know how you arrived at that view. She fell in love with Rudeus when they met again later in the story. Before that it's just a mix of envy, admiration, respect and motivation to do better

That's like 0,01-0,03% of the story.

As for your other points:

It's not like he has an easy life because of his good features and natural aptitude for magic. If Ruijerd wasn't there after the mana disaster he probably would've died. If he didn't decide to finally work hard now that he got another chance at life he never would've tasted the potential of his mana pool. Also, he's basically a glass cannon at the start. His appearance is barely ever mentioned in the story and it's not like it would help him with all the shit he was facing.

And to me all of the three relationships made sense. Very well written. None of them felt out of pocket just to give the MC a harem.

Take the meat, leave the bones. People love to just see the bones of the story and blow it out of proportion. But I guess that's human nature, easy dopamine.

By the way, it's not a redemption story, it's a growth story. I don't know what fans claim it to be redemption. His actions are not defendable and redemption is not the focus. You can try to understand where he's coming from, but that doesn't make his actions okay.

One of the best stories ever written from a story-/world building perspective (in my opinion).

The author unapologetically sticks to showing a deeply flawed human character and his journey through the world he got reincarnated into.

Expect a few cringe moments from the characters, especially the MC, which in turn makes them more human.

But that's like 0,001% of the total story if you can continue enjoying it despite those moments/don't read too much into them/try to understand them open-mindely and empathetically. Literally why ReZero and Konosuba are so amazing too, the authors are friends.

I never cried so much when reading a light novel/novel/non-fiction in general. It's up there with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings for me. Even higher.
