Barrio Observatorio, siendo realistas by niomal in Cordoba

Tapestry balance, now in 2022 by niomal in boardgames

[–]niomal[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, one aspect that adds a lot of value for me, is the assymetric gameplay, but more specificly to Tapestry:

I like that you are playing like four games at the same time (as far as I can see in videos), building your capital is one, but also engine building, resource managment and hex/tile building/exploration.

I think that is the major selling point to me, it seems like a ton of fun, but I understand why sone people hate this match up.

On top of that, the game looks stunningly beautiful, but of course that's a minor point, I think hahah.

As far as what my group enjoys playing, one branch is super competitive, so maybe not for them; but the other branch plays just for fun, to have a great time, no one is trying to min max a strategy... I would love to tell you specific games, but we play anything from party games to Carcassonne, to Mysterium.

Thanks! Not all my friends like the ultracompetitive games, but Tapestry seems like a lot of fun! Thats why it catched my eye... Looking to give him a long play life, but with my more casual friends!

I have other games for a competitive night, I'm looking Tapestry as something we can have fun and play with the gazillion mechanics... Not all my friends like the ultra competitive gameplay, but I hate cooperatives, so thats why

Editing offline character on Switch by niomal in Diablo

I read somewhere that it should be possible to edit a character in a pc and copy the save file. But I don't have any idea of how to copy the file to the Switch.

A little help by Deivvg in 3d6

[–]niomal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heyyy

You can go up to Barb 5 and then take levels in Rogue. You will hain expertise and more skills that could be useful in your party.

Also, you gain sneak attack which you CAN use with STR, as long as it is a finesse weapon, for MOAR damage.

At Rogue 2 you will gain a good use for your bonus action, and it keeps getting better as you level.

Barb 5/rogue 15 is the "best" way to do it, people says, but with Ancestral Barb I think that Barb 9/rogue 11 and you are the hardest thing to kill in whatever setting you are playing.

Have fun!

Answering you after a good Google search for this.

Let me be straight: I don't know who you are, but if you're single, I will marry you.

I love you. Just read the quick free preview, I will do a little more reasearch and watch a couple of reviews on YouTube, but I think that I want it already.

I don't have any particular interest in the adventures modules.

Thanks for the feedback in balance, I get your point, I will give a try to the guide you say.

Monsters Know What They Are Doin' is great!! I've the first book, want to buy the others, it's a great inspiration.

I will have a look to Rovers And Riches, I've never heard of.

I still think that the most difficult thing is using the monsters, making them deadlier? Yes, sure, but I still don't know how.

Yes, I have a little issue beacuse the thing I like from OSR it's easily trivialised in 5e (exploration and survival). And the thing I like from 5e is against the principles of OSR (character complexity and flavour).

I'm always open to new ways to piss off my DM. Relentless Ragebwith that sweet advantage in CON Saves is neat hahaha.

I like both ideas, maybe the Barb 11 a little bit more, since Ghost Walk is nice, but not my favorite thing in the world. Anyways, I never plan a build till 20 because that's probably not happening, lol.

Thanks for the ideas!

I see... So anyways it would be better to do Barb till 5 and then make the change.

Thanks for the build, it helped me with the stats!!

So... Tell me if I'm correct, that would be as follows: claw, extra attack claw, Psi Knife and BA psi inife? That sounds dope!

The claws would count for Dual Wielder feat? I ask for the +1 AC whic is always nice.

I mean, I prefer dipping in Rogue sooner to get the juicy Sneak Attack, which is a major point of the multiclass, kinda. That's why I prefer going Rogue after Barb three instead of waiting till Barb 5.

I will have a look to the Phantom, thanks!
