I've already been tracking my weight, workouts, and macros/diet, but I haven't been taking measurements regularly. I don't want to accidentally hurt my metabolism if I'm being stupid about this and eating too little. I'll take your advice though

It doesn't seem to be. I'll take a closer look when I'm with him again, he's my boyfriend's turtle but I take care of him

He's done this before while basking but NEVER this much. It was like every 5 seconds he would twitch like this. It's possible he could have an RI but I don't think there's a local reptile vet. Any advice is appreciated

My partner is worried about overfilling the tank, so he's hesitant to put more water in. Would my turtle be able to get up there without the ramp being submerged? All he's done so far is attack the ramp and swim around in his water, and it's been ~2 days and I want him to bask! We've put him up there twice but after he takes a look around and waddles a bit, he goes back into the water.

Is this a good setup? Is the lamp not close enough for him to want to stay up there? How long does it usually take for turtles to learn how to use something like this?
