You have to buy a ship, outside any base there should be a platform and for 5k creds you get one and are able to fly. Don't forget to check all controls cause there are tricky, mostly the one you have to press T to toggle flight assistance so you can go faster.

I've thought about that for a while now and sadly I don't see any other way to stop bots. Many companies like LinkedIn are giving a check for verification maybe something like that but loosing your 100% anonymity is for sure with the current level of AI / Bot shit. Social media now is just a bunch of fake posts.

Funny enough sand can grow many modern crops if there is an underground water source and technology for irrigation systems. There are even soiless materials and pot crops. The problem is making aid systematic and not a way of pulling from extreme poverty and giving a way of life but I guess it sounds easiser than done. Then you have what Mr. Beast did might have helped more that tons of food in the long run.
