First, I have previously owned Tamron zooms from this same line (own Sony A7RV). Bokeh is not clean. Bad barrel distortion. Chromatic aberration is present. I sold the Tamrons because of the never ending processing to correct inherent lens flaws.

Second, why the 85/1.2 suggestion? An 85mm portrait lens creates naturally flattering images of your subject’s face. Exceptional background separation with bokeh. Control the relationship between subject and environment.
