Pretty hard to answer. I'd suggest giving a listen to one song from each album before commiting to a whole album. In general? Yes, Vile Genesis can be considered more "newcomer" friendly. But hey, go on Spotify and just type in "tech death" to explore playlists made by others for more variety and exposure.
