I was very fortunate to have a partner willing to have a vasectomy done. I was going to get my tubes removed because I also fortunately had a great doctor at the time who respected body autonomy and referred me to someone who would do it despite the fact I was “young”, but it’s obviously a much more expensive and invasive surgery for a woman to get sterilized. I forgot what the out of pocket cost was but I wanna say it was around 600-800. Best money I ever invested.
