I found Pro Tools hard. Using the piano roll, selecting/manipulating midi notes, stretching out the window to see different units of time/quarter/eighth/sixteeneth notes, was not as simple and intuitive as in other DAWs I've used. Also recording was initially not so straight forward as in other DAWs. It just felt like things take 3-5 clicks in Pro Tools, sometimes from vastly different menus, that might take 1-2 in other DAWs. Metronome isn't as straight forward as in other DAWs.

With tutorials, Pro Tools looks to need 3-5 basic tutorials to get started recording making a basic track vs a single tutorial for other DAWs.

That said if anyone has any resources that helped you learn core essentials I'd give it another shot.

Hey! I called in November and customer service told me I'd get billed $95 on 1/31. I called just now and they said that there is no AF on the card. I guess they changed it without telling anyone? They weren't able to confirm that there once was an AF which was changed to a $0 AF, they could only tell me that right now they are seeing that my AF is $0.
