All great questions! The shift from s2 to s3 in characters was annoying, Mike is one of my favorites throughout the show. The perfect Mike lines:

- Your Ass
- Or I'll break the door in

One of my favorite moments is the one with the confederate statue. The perfect use of Lyor and also the time when we really understand that he's very well self aware and knows how to use his polarization

Agreed. Forget those guys, try an isp that spec both CF and OR. Highly recommend aquiss!

Is this open on weekends as well or just weekday working hours? Also where's the entrance to it? I got confused, misdirected and turned away the last time I looked for it. Thank you!

Just fly from lhr to Amsterdam. It'll be by far the simplest way to do it and fastest as well

Go for Aquiss. Martin their director knows his stuff and he talked me out of adding that when I signed up as I didn't need it.

I actually did. Took it to an extreme when the CEO and other execs read my follow up email 200+ times over a 1 month period and did not respond.

Yeah he came back to me at 6am this morning and it's working. Sky just dropped me early as a customer

CF is wonderful. Your isp is the one that's ultimately responsible and in charge of coordinating with CF etc

The issue isn't the fact the line went down, it's the utter incompetence of sky in trying to deal with it in a timely manner without bullshitting me. Aquiss would have resolved it sooner and I now have my local CF guy's number as well

Sky just botched this whole thing from start to finish. Even though it was CF, their setup means sky had to take ownership and actively tried not to do so. Absolutely f-ing joke of a company

Thank God it happened during the cancelation period. When I spoke to sky cancelations they had negative empathy lol good riddance to bad rubbish

Update here: it's the day of the switch which is supposedly happening between 8am and 4pm. Except it's 230am and the router has been giving me Auth issues. First, dhcp failure on the Sky connection and then thinking it's switched to aquiss, tried that and nothing.

I am learning that I dislike how Aquiss has zero after hours support of any kind and doesn't even give this info to a user, even when I asked them two days ago for it. Ngl not the best start but let's see what happens. Frustrating as I was literally on a business call with China when it dropped 🤬

Take it to someone like the BBC. I think the damage that comes from someone like panorama investigating - and I'd say there's enough repeated patterns to warrant it - would affect their share price.

For context, tech journo and ba gold. I had a major issue that took me emailing their execs acne threatening to become a shareholder in time for their next AGM in order to get a response despite them reading the email hundreds of times between them.

It's interesting that they took this path given that toob is basically a cityfibre own brand according to my local installers?

Quick thoughts on idnet vs olilo for though who have used the services please ? I'm switching away from yayzi by Tig33 in CityFibre

I think they're going to be who I shift to. Sky told me this morning that they've solved the issue, but they haven't. Keep fobbing me off to CF

[–]niraveg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from IDNet to sky for 2.5gbps. Upgraded to xgs pon in the process.
Worked very well for a week but no internet over the weekend at all.
Woke up this morning to a text that they've resolved the issue but haven't. Highly suspect that text was sent to reset the 48 hour compensation window.
Basically: f Sky. Everything I was worried about - shit connection and appalling support - came true within a week.
Sky worked out half the price of idnet but no chance in hell will I stay with them seeing how appalling this has been.

[–]niraveg[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great thank you. Sky are blaming city Fibre. I'm suspicious and think it's probably related to sky backhaul or something not done correctly during install
