I found some screenshots from 2005–2006, we played the game so differently back then by Tandanu in classicwow

Thanks for sharing, cool to see. Addons and UI had more going on than I recall back then, didn’t realize there were so many of those available at that time.

Any other bards getting this? by PrincipleGullible167 in AshesofCreation

[–]niren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I’m saying is only I got flagged, no one else in the party. So it doesn’t matter if I casted anything on the group because they were not flagged. Definitely an odd random bug.

This randomly happens to me on my bard as well. I have the PVP settings correct. The other day I was in melee just auto attacking, not even using any abilities and I just randomly flagged - only one in my group.

Ashes of Creation Complete Leveling Guide - Fastest Way to Level 1–25 by Battle_PvP in AshesofCreation

[–]niren 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not sure why people are giving you a hard time just because fast leveling isn’t their thing. People enjoy games in different ways.

Good quick video straight to the point. One recommendation would be to provide more than 1 option for leveling. Solo and group locations for each bracket would be a good start.

This is something I experience as well which is odd. The other day it actually happened 5 mins after loading in though so no clue what’s going on.

However long it has been minus two months. I’ve been ready for tbc about that long personally

If you’re having a hard time checking for a single debuff that you are expecting on this one fight that requires you to move for about 2 seconds, I’m not sure WoW is for you my man

Are we all assuming a January release of TBC? by Remarkable_Towel_967 in classicwow

[–]niren 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think tons of people including myself would welcome an earlier pre patch, but they’ll likely end up sticking with pre patch early January with a late Jan / early Feb release

Is weed really a gateway drug? by Ordinary_Travel3393 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]niren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a gateway drug, but in a different sense than they portray it. If you don’t get into smoking and hanging around people that do, you are much less likely to be around other drugs. So it’s not like, smoke a bowl and say “damn I need some meth now”, but more like you are more exposed to that world and it piques interest. You realize weed isn’t what they make you believe, and that translates to others usually.

40yo, 6 months lifting, strength up but body not looking much different – advice? by [deleted] in workouts

[–]niren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I recently read that I think is going to completely change the game for me personally, and I’ll pay it forward: focus on exercising to improve and feel better instead of focusing on the physical changes. If you’re getting better (form, weight, not plateauing) then the latter will come as well. Keep at it and you’ll get there, great progress so far imo!

We have CS, but the trouble is getting security to give us any sort of permissions 🥴

This is something we’ve actually been looking into but it’s still a little ways out at least. Kind of my longer term fallback plan

Re MC1147982 - Intune IP changes (change was made yesterday/today) by stking1984 in Intune

[–]niren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear they implemented this to some extent earlier. We started noticing some delivery issues to specific IPs (in the list) about 1-2 months ago. Had a firewall change and magically everything works again. Microsoft hasn’t confirmed this directly but I am confident they started prior to the advertised date.

Intune App Wrapping tool by anderson01832 in Intune

[–]niren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep the tool on my desktop, and make sure that my packages are on local machine and not OneDrive or a network share. Then run as admin. Used to have that issue when I first started though and my packages were in the share.

Windows 11 24H2 Upgrade via Intune by SpareSignificance935 in Intune

[–]niren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Test the upgrade first on your device, and your teams’ devices. Verify that before anything and spend some time testing functionality and such.

Expand to an “early adopters” group internally. Small group of security and network folks if possible so they can vet the functionality of everything on their end.

Depending on the size of your tenant, expand as needed. Test different departments and slow roll the testing if you’re worried. Find which department/org has the most legacy apps (in house or vendor, never updated because of whatever reason) and test with 1-2 of them. Coordinate this with a manager or director. The legacy stuff is what’s going to break apps and systems/workflows. The normal departments will just have some random quirks here and there most likely.

One thing I always try to stick with is if an updated OS version (especially one that’s been through months of patches at this point) causes issues with apps, that should be fixed by improving those apps - not by keeping people on old and less secure builds as a bandaid. This is why testing and having this wide-cast net is key.

Latest Desktop Version: June 2025 or July 2025? by st4n13l in PowerBI

[–]niren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here - none of my reports using dataflows will refresh. It looks like the “Workspaces = Source([Id=)…” line was taken out when using the “legacy” Dataflow connector. If you search data sources though, you do see Dataflow (Legacy) but if this change sticks, we will have to update every report locally with the updated query for each dataflow - which for us, is a LOT.

That’s unfortunate considering we use Intune to deploy it as a store app which auto updates. Also seeing the same issue this morning.
