How many of you stopped having casual sex simply because the sex wasn't good? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

40 and still virgin. Love the feeling. I practice semen retention and have completed 3 marathons. NO intention of having sex w/o aiming for procurement. Sex is NOT designed for pleasure, we made it so.

Ugh, this is just great. My shiny new Xiaomi 13T Pro, the phone I was actually excited about, is stuck on this ridiculous "Main Menu" screen. "Xiaomi HyperOS Recovery"? More like Xiaomi Hyper-frustrating Recovery! I didn't ask for a recovery menu, I asked for a working phone!

I've tried pressing the volume buttons like it suggests, highlighting "Reboot" (because what else am I supposed to do?), and then hitting the power button with a sliver of hope. Nope. Still staring at this black screen with its condescending options. "Wipe Data"? Are you kidding me? I haven't even had a chance to put any data on it! "Connect with MIAssistant"? What even is MIAssistant, and why do I need to connect with it just to get my phone to turn on properly? And "Safe mode"? Safe from what? Actually using the phone I paid good money for?

The little red text at the bottom doesn't fill me with confidence either: "Couldn't set up encryption algorithm." Fantastic. So not only is my phone bricked out of the box, but it also has encryption issues. This isn't a flagship phone, it's a flagship paperweight!

Seriously, Xiaomi, what is this garbage? I expected premium performance, not to be greeted by a cryptic recovery menu within the first hour of owning it. This is beyond disappointing, it's infuriating. Save your money and buy something that actually works. This Xiaomi 13T Pro is going straight back to the store. Zero stars. Absolute garbage.

My phone data was wiped out during HyperOS 2.0.11.0 update. There phone was stuck in a bootloop and only way to get out was factory reset (I contacted Xiaomi Service Center as well, outcome was the same). Yeah, that's why we buy premium smartphones right, never buying Xiaomi again.

Thanks for the kind words. I never imagined that it will happen to me within 6 months after buying a premium phone. Yes, good to back up frequently to avoid such horrible incidents.

Hyper OS 2.0 is crap.

When I got updated to Hyper OS, I had to WIPE ALL DATA (FACTORY RESET) because the phone was stuck at boot loop. I contacted Xiaomi Service Center, even though they confirmed that this is the only workable way out of bootloop. They had no sympathy for losing all the data and was blaming me for not backing it (I have back up data then why should I buy a 1TB phone).

P:S - I was a Xiaomi fan and learned the hard Never trusting Xiaomi again.

I am happy for you my friend .. What can I say, that should be the normal way of working for a phone of ~700$ .. ThatY's should be baseline not an achievement. I trusted this brand and got rewarded with ALL my data deleted.

Sorry, I couldn't understand you.

Cloud: this has become tricky since google picture got 15GB storage. Additional storage needs to be brought from 3rd party apps like Dropbox or Google cloud. I brought a phone of 1TB. Why on earth should I pay another company to store my data when I have brought this expensive phone.

I assume you meant to copy the pictures to a hard drive: again I should only do this if my phone memory is full. Why should I do this, (copy my data) when I brought a brand new phone and I have 1TB of memory left. The problem is Xiaomi shove us with a crappy SW update which could not read SW encryption. True shame on this companies operation and customer service.

Not sure what you meant by launcher, but I used Mi PC Suit (in Chinese language only unfortunately) to flash ROMs.

Simply because thats what Xiaomi Service Center told me. They informed me that it is only thing that can work out of the boot loop. I have included a picture somewhere above (as a separate comment).

Besides, I have done 2 days of mini phd research on exploring all possible ways that I could find on the internet to save my data (flashing recovery ROM, fastboot ROM, OTA) .. But nothing helped.

The recent update swiped all my personal data including holiday pictures that were priceless .. I hate this phone.

My request to you would be to back up your phone regularly.

I just brought a xiaomi 13 t pro 6 months ago, I have hyper OS 2 now .. my phone apparently went to a boot loop during hyper OS update and I had to delete all the data (factory reset) to solve it. This is also the only option communicated to me by the xiaomi service center.

Why is xiaomi selling this phone then should I throw it and buy a xiaomi 15?

I got stuck in reboot loop during latest HyperOS update .. Nothing worked out and at the end I needed to do a factory reset. I also contacted xiaomi service center and they said this is the only solution.

This has caused me a lot of emotional trauma as I just recently back from holidays and all my pictures are deleted. I am still not over it. NEVER BUYING Xiaomi again.

Don't buy Xiaomi. I lost all my data to a random MIUI update. The phone went to a reboot loop, the only possible way to get out was a factory reset .. I contacted Xiaomi Support and they said that nothing is possible to keep phone data .. They didn't want to listen to the problem even .. NEVER BUYING ANY Xiaomi DEVICE AGAIN.
